Dammit!!! I had DOFP wolverine for $144 in my cart, but wasnt sure if I should buy it.
Now I see the extra 20% is gone. ARRRGGG

I wonder does popcultcha need to pay fees to process all those refunds. Maybe they will decide it is just better to honor the order. *fingers crossed*

if they refund you in aud , and you card is in usd or smth else , that amount will be smaller , because of the bank buy-sell currency exchange

It would be cheaper to pay the fees than honor the orders. Even then.... it was a mistake to begin with....

Something like this... depending on the orders placed.... could really hurt a company.

It would be cheaper to pay the fees than honor the orders. Even then.... it was a mistake to begin with....

Something like this... depending on the orders placed.... could really hurt a company.

You need to remember though they are getting the dollar currency if they are selling to US so they get FX benefit for the sales to the states. Not going to do the translation right now but they are not loosing 20% on US transacted orders.

They are more worried about getting the stock right. Now that is the place you don't want to be screwing up your ability to correctly deliver orders. If product sells out, well tought tit you were not fast enough. 500 unfilled transactions, not good.

I know some orders were correct. Falcon would end up $200 Aud with the 20% discount, so it would have been a fair bit cheaper in US dollars.
