Yeah Jimmy Chueng basically doubled the price of his commissions for inks. Though for what he charges and what you get from other artists it really isnt worth it.

i've considered trying to get a commission by cheung. what's his rate?

Back in 2008 it was $175 for one character pencils only, this is what I got from him at a Con.

tried to get one from him at this past years Dallas Fan Expo. by the time i got to him, his list was maxed out. i don't think he accepts pre-show commissions or home commissions. think i tried before. nice piece btw josh.

Thanks, unfortunately I had to sell that one a while back, I regret it now but at the time I had no choice.

Sideshow is working quickly to resolve the print dilemma. I put in for 2 full refunds and 2 partial refunds. So I'm left with only 2 framed prints now that were hard to part with.

Just a thought:

Those who are truly unsatisfied with the prints without a sig should ask for refund or credit back.

To those who never really cares about the sig and trying to ask for free credit or partial refund back--shame on you. Don't pull such a **** move on SS just to get something free.

The thought did cross my mind but I was like that's such a **** move :lol

And I'm sure if they get enough complaints they'll just stop doing prints like this for a while and hell I don't wanna do that.

I've thought about that too and then thought about all the guys who bought them and then marked them up for sale on eBay. There's something seriously wrong if those people get a credit, but I doubt there's a way to monitor it.

Speaking of credit, I did email SS yesterday and asked for a credit on the prints I bought from them and have heard nothing back. How long did it take for SS to respond to you guys who did hear back?

I got my labels today for all my prints. No worries for anyone that did a batch return. I still think that DD was the best print they did but I sent them all back.

Some of those commission prices are crazy. I know notoriety of an artist holds weight and value I think this year I am gonna try and spot some up and coming talent vs paying top $. I want to be more educated, experienced, and versed so I fully understand and comprehend what I am actually paying for.

I was doing the chat thing and 1 of my prints that was not sent out yet and was canceled right on the spot, but I was told to do the Return/Replacement form for returning a print for a full return. For the 10% credit or partial refund it would be better to call/chat and give them the order #s and tell them which credit you prefer. You could email but I bet they are reading tons of emails for this and might take a few days or so. I guess there's no expiration date to get a refund or credit.
