We got ours today in the UK , £250 shipped but no import tax, thankfully!I don't usually pay huge attention to the figures he buys but must say I was at the opening of this and was pleasantly surprised , it really is good except maybe the beaky muzzle but with some combing he looks really quite cool , the fur is very well done on the body and arms, but maybe he's a tad short? We have Han on order so we'll see when he arrives, having had the privilege of having met Peter Mayhew in person , and having his photo with our local 501st units resident wookie , we can do some maths and see if he's tall enough....I was aloud to play with chewie a bit and really like him except maybe his duck billed muzzle . I think we'll trawl ebay for a parted out spare head and maybe try to alter that, excuse the silly pictures of me "rahhhh" ing' in the background. I know the H was really quite chuffed with this figure. A lot better in hand that I'd expected from reading this thread.....

Great pics!:clap Can you tell us what the exact height is to the cm?

From this figure looking like a diabolical mess to something quite fantastic in a few days really goes to show how awful those first blogger pictures are. I'm very tempted by this guy right now.

Chewy isn't without his issues but I think he turned out pretty great. There will be a futz-athon but that was expected. If I can sell that damn SSC Vayda 2.0 I'll be in for both Chewie and Han. I think both turned out excellent.

I remember being initially surprised when I heard people asking what 'futz' meant. I thought it was just something everyone used from time to time. I heard one person here on SSF claim it originated with this hobby, even giving the name of the person who created it. [emoji38] I don't think that's true. I, and others I know, used that word long before I was a member here or into 1/6.

Wow, Para, this latest round of pics is even more amazing. That's exactly how I will be futzing mine when I get it.

:clap paramore you have removed all reservations I had at all about this. Its not 100 percent perfect, but way better than good enough to add to my collection. Hot toys and SS should reimburse you for that figure.

Great pics! It's amazing what a few pics can do to change the views/opinions on this figure. It's too bad HT did not make those darn eyes adjustable! Maybe it's just the angle of some pics.

Just got my Chewie, been playing around for a few minutes. I quite like it, I'm not super picky about accuracy. The figure is nice. The fur on the body is like a really thin body suit on top of a HT body.

The fur on the face is not glued down, it's a lot of hairspray. Can be loosened with water. I just put small dabs on the fingertips, and weed that hairspray out. They eyes could have been a little bigger, he now has that weird surprised expression. Articulation is great, fun to pose, love this figure.

I hope some of you guys that are waiting don't get "stormtroopered". I know he's not quite an army builder, but I also would bet money he wasn't made in the quantities they were either. The SW version sold out pretty quick, a lot sooner than most anticipated. I still question the need for HT to make another OT version of Chewie. With some of the amazing Freaks photos, you can obviously achieve a Jedi Chewie look with a little futzing. I dunno, maybe it's just me. I'm getting him now and enjoying having him be the best 1/6 Chewbacca until he isn't....and hopefully I'll be dead by then cause I probably won't be able to afford it.

It's not perfect, but for me it's still Chewie and I can't wait for Sideshow to ship it out to me. Any update on when that might be?

Great photos guys. Looks like i'll be driving my wife nuts with constant adjustments, but there you go!

My last flex scheduled for the 25th of this month for him.

If Paramore's recent pics don't sell you on this figure, nothing will. That looks absolutely incredible. Great job man.
