Haha that's awesome, blood-sama however, what will you do with your Scultures 16 once the figuarts version makes it obsolete? :monkey3

well since that one is able to have his arms pop off to recreate his attack im going to place him in the "leftover" cube

:yess::blissy

anyhoooo, my beast arrived today :)

Spoiler Spoiler:

This pose of Frieza is making me very tempted to spending $150 on this small figure...

Think they will re-release another Frieza? Maybe 100% Final form with battle damage optional parts? One can dream...

Does anyone recommend any other Frieza figures to sub in for the SH one? Something that will look good on display.. it can also be a statue.

The poll gave First Form Frieza as an option but I feel that would be a strange release in this line. I can see it working as a Figuarts Zero, though.

I am talking about the MP10 mold in normal colors (aka. Not black version, not BAPE, not EVA colors, not YOTH gold). Most of those are the outdated MP1 mold or bizarre colorations of the MP10 mold

That's like releasing a Goku with blue hair and a green Gi and calling it a legit rerelease or the bizarre error colored Scouter Vegeta release. While interesting novelties to some, they arent accurate representations of the character

I guess that's true, but most of what we mentioned used the same mold. And yes, Vegeta helped make DBZ what it was. I'm surprised Toriyama didn't like Vegeta honestly, and wonder why. You're also right on how we need a version of each character available for the masses. Which I think should maybe apply to the final form of the villains as well, if we ever get Kid Buu. Even if newcomers can't get everything, getting a form of each main character should be enough since I don't think some people will get EVERY release in this line - not just SDCC exclusives but some of the characters like the Android, I can't see the average fan going for.

Vegeta in general during that fight was great. His awestruck reaction to Gohan, the son of his rival, surpassing him, realizing what Trunks did for him and how awful he as a father was to him, to even realizing his rage against Cell made things worse. He even said sorry to Gohan since he denied another Saiyan victory (or was it something else?) and then he helps out Gohan. Then there's his last words on the fight when everyone's gone, how Goku died without fear.

I thought Vegeta apologised for letting Cell get Perfect in the first place, because had Trunks died it would basically have been Vegeta's fault, if you assume Cell as a force rather than a person making choices.

Lol, Broly wrecks Blood's display! Awesome **** Blood.:clap

He apologized for wrecking Gohan's chances of winning the fight, not for Perfect Cell becoming perfect.
This is the best pic of Broly yet, especially with that Krillin owned count :rotfl I might do that with my Krillin sometime. Why is Trunks normal though?

Also Blood...we still doing that thing with Tamashii Buddies Vegeta and Nappa?

Okay I apparently don't remember that bit in the details.

Oh **** dude I hadn't even seen the owned count tag yet, that's genius Blood!:lol

Interesting choice how you're just staring right into Vegeta's *******...

Thanks for the info.. I think I am going to wait on the datong bootleg. Where did you find this out/see this? What else are they working on?

@Silrian
1. He already had his moment of realization when he told out loud to everyone that ****rott was brillaint, and as much as he hated to admit it, ****rott was better than him. That was such a shocking moment. He completely accepted that Goku was better and got angry at Trunks for suggesting they help him out.

2.Then you get to the scene with Cell killing his son and Vegeta goes to avenge him!

3. The third biggest moment for him was not only did he accept that Goku was better, but Vegeta had become baggage. Gohan gets his arm busted saving him and this completely broke any pride Vegeta had. HE APOLOGIZES TO GOHAN for dooming them. Then with his last strength, not even able to muster up energy to become Super Saiyan again, he gives that energy to hit Cell. That attack did absolute squat, but it was just for symbolism purposes. Cell thought Vegeta was totally out of it, and that's what got him distracted for Gohan to kill him. Vegeta thought he was going to die, but he just wanted to do something. He would have stood there whining at the cliff like in the anime, Cell would have been on guard, and would have killed everyone. The anime part wasn't bad at all, it's just I prefer the way Toriyama wrote it.

4. Then there's the scene where Piccolo asks to help Vegeta and he refuses. When Piccolo leaves, Vegeta has this really sad look on his face. It's just a really powerful panel, and there's a lot of those, that the anime doesn't capture.

5. Finally you see Vegeta at aftermath of Goku's funeral.

The Cell arc ended perfectly. The Boo arc was just Toriyama making a parody of his work.

-Using the Legendary SSJ form as a disguise like a Superman/Clark Kent glasses deception.
-Kids making SSJ a complete joke
- Everyone leaving half-way through the tournament
-Making the most powerful gods completely incompetant
- Making Gohan's frantic rage mode something that the character's can just train to have and now calling it SSJ2. Goku and Vegeta should not be able to train to have Gohan's BERSERKER MODE.
- The Villain is a childish bubble gum monster
-Killing Vegeta because fans liked him- That was the reason for Final Atonement as beautiful as it was. He really likes Vegeta after reading his work again for Battle of Gods though!
-Making Power useless. The villain can constantly regenerate and they make such a big deal about power. What does it matter? He got blown up to nothing, but someone with more power comes and here's tension!
-Fusion- Makes fun of fanboys with their power levels
- Gohan becomes the most powerful character sitting on his butt
- Giving a completely stupid 90s style SSJ transformation that makes no sense, further making the Legendary form useless
-Letting the little kids getting the new SSJ3 form in no time
- The Spirit Bomb actually works
-Mr. Satan being the hero

I like the Boo arc, but I'm just pointing those things out. I love this franchise to death. I don't like Boo and the SSJ form being a joke though. If the kids didn't ruin it, "SSJ2" did in my opinion. What Gohan had at the end of the Cell Games was his beserker modes he displayed when his dad got attacked by Raditz, Nappa killed Piccolo, and throughout the Freeza arc. It wasn't just him getting really angry. Gohan seemed to black out when he went into his uncontrollable rage mode.

The main reason I'm asking for a Boo arc Vegeta, is because I think it's the only chance we get at a SSJ Vegeta. That's why I campaign for it, because I know that's why others want. I'd prefer we either get a new Cell Games Vegeta or a Namek version with an SSJ head. Not that I don't want Boo arc Vegeta. I'm buying multiples if they do.

:offtopic:

dunno where else to post this, but for those that are interested here's a color version of the upcoming MegaMan X figure from TruForce

TruX.jpg

That was a limited Hasbro Asia reissue, not readily available outside of Japan or Hasbro Asia territory, unlike SS Goku which has been made available to all territories multiple times

What do you mean not readily available? can you not go on BBTS and order it? Do you mean go to a store and pick it up? cause I can't do that with SS Goku anyway. but I get what you're saying. Also you can't get that reissue in Japan unless you import it.

I appreciate the very extensive breakdown FSLAR, but the crux here is I'd totally forgotten THAT is how Gohan gets his arm busted. I'd just totally forgotten that.

Thanks for the clip crisis. Dear god I love the Android period. It's just so far and away the best period imo. I know goku going ssj is a unique moment, as are many before the android and, well, a few for me after it. But the way multiple character arcs flow intertwined and and all climax against cell, it's the best writing of the entire franchise imo. From the idea of Trunks as a time traveler right down to gohan fulfilling his primordial power against the ultimate weapon, with the help of his father and his father's nemesis, against the enemy that's the culmination of the defeat of the "hydra" of Dragonball. It's just so freakin fantastic.

I feel so lucky this line started with these characters, that I've alwaaaays wanted for so long. That's why I'm totally fine with a release like broly. I feel so lucky with already having my favorites, I'm just looking forward to seeing others getting theirs, if they haven't already.

I never expected this hobby, this figure line, to rekindle a sort of community feel among dbz fans, it's just great seeing so many people cherish the same thing I did as a kid. And still do of course. It's why I get so spirited about whether fans get to have access to their favourite releases. I just love the joy it brings to the community seeing everyone celebrating this franchise through these great collectables. I just don't like seeing people missing out.
