I wish the announcement and subsequent releases had started two years ago. Not only would we be at least ten figures in, it would have saved me a bucketload of money spent trying to make the Sideshow pieces look better.

Jeez the paint on that Ben ain't great out of the box. That sculpt shrunk by 15% and with more detail plus HT paint apps would be the ultimate Ben.

There is some serious under-estimation happening on this thread.
Star Wars is owned by Disney, and these are Hot Toys figures, and they will be coming out a good year (or more) after the recent SSC Vader.
And it won't take light-up sabers to make them expensive. I would estimate $249 for Obi, and at least $299 for Vader.
My prediction: HT ANH Darth Vader $325. It will come with 1 head, 3 pairs of hands (so 6 total), light-up features on the outfit, lit Lightsaber, and lightsaber hilt. That's it. That's all it'll come with.

That would put the set well over $500... not sure HT wants to cross that line yet. But its Vader, so perhaps. Who else you gonna break that line with, right?

THe one slight advantage that might keep me from ordering the Hot Toys versions, is that my Sideshow ANH Vader & ANH Obi-Wan, are already paid for.

I'm thinking $230 for Obi-Wan and $275 for Vader with the set being $499.
I thought Chewie was going to be more expensive than he was, so we'll see about these figures.

I think:
219.99 - 229.99 for Ben - my gut says 219.99
249.99 - 269.99 for Vader - my gut says 259.99
479.99 - 499.99 for set - my gut says 479.99
Have you factored in that 3 pairs of hands equals 6 hands total?
I'm hoping for real gloves.... or at least the sleeve of the glove being real material. Unlikely I know.
But as long as I can pose him with his hands on his belt, I'm good. 6 hands sounds fine. Sideshow provided 102 and I don't use any of them.
