Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - TDKR - Batman Spotlight w/ Robin and Gordon (Various Sets)

Good, Gordon looks like a piece of crap in TDKR.

Gordon in his prime > Gopher Gordon

I always wanted the final scene of BB Gordon, but they would still have to make proper sculpt and painting:

not this:

Yea I preferred his look in BB as well.

Can't say it often enough, imo a BB set, including a new / revised BB suit Batman, the Bat-Signal and BB Jim Gordon in trenchcoat (with hatched) would be a really epic set, sure it would sell at least as good as the Armory sets.

Begins needs a lot more love. There have been God knows how many figures from TDK and TDKR, we've had only two Batman figures, plus Demon Batman and Scarecrow from Begins, and those last two weren't great while Batman himself badly needs an upgrade. There's nothing else remotely essential from TDK and TDKR, but we need DX Bats, Ra's, Ninja Bruce, Scarecrow with Crane head, for the line to feel complete; and if they're going to do Gordon it should be a BB Gordon.

... although I do feel sorry for the people who have everything already and no wish for more beyond a Ra's.

I know a definitive Begins suit is possible. Enterbay's sculpt is amazing. I still think one is planned due to those pesky screenshots from that interview years back.

No idea what this refers to - anyone got them?

2015, Year of Begins. Here's hoping, brother. :duff

Don't remember any interview where HT/Howard states they're planning/thinking about remaking the begins suit.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - TDKR - Batman Spotlight w/ Robin and Gordon (Various Sets)

The only thing I remember is a pic of a Batman Begins scene on screen for reference when someone was sculpting. I believe the sculptor referencing his "swear to me!" mouth when sculpting the mouth plate for the QS.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - TDKR - Batman Spotlight w/ Robin and Gordon (Various Sets)

It was the scene where he says 'I'm Batman' to Falcone on a screen.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - TDKR - Batman Spotlight w/ Robin and Gordon (Various Sets)

That pic gives me hope for another BB Bats. In 2015. But will it be a DX? What will it come with? An Armory? Any other BB figures? Should feature prominently at SDCC.

I'd prefer it without an Armory, I feel like that would be overkill. More figures - Ninja Ras or a new Scarecrow would be my preferences. I wouldn't have any interest in a Ras in a suit, that could be anyone, I want someone who looks like a villain from Batman not Die Hard.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - TDKR - Batman Spotlight w/ Robin and Gordon (Various Sets)

Liam Neeson had such malice in that scene, it was so refreshing to see him as a villain, toe to toe with Bale as he burns his house down around him. Plus, Ra's has always been a classy gentleman to me, not a ninja, ever since David Warner's masterful work in the animated series.

I need a BB Batman, Ra's, and a Scarecrow 2.0 as well, then HT will have my permission to work on the Batfleck franchise.

EDIT: I missed out on Dent, I would need a 2.0 version of that as well.

They could call it 2.0Face.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - TDKR - Batman Spotlight w/ Robin and Gordon (Various Sets)

Can't wait for this set. TDKR is a solid 10/10 for me and the best film of 2012 (with The Master and The Avengers in second and third place). Being a huge fan of Nolan's use of true 15/70 IMAX it was THE movie to see that summer (in five stories). I couldn't have asked for a better follow up to TDK. I loved all the characters, and really fell for JGL's Blake. I never thought the character would get my attention prior to seeing the film but he did in a big way.

I'm currently on the hunt for a Bane figure and plan on buying the TDK Armory with Batman, Bruce & Alfred for Christmas. Hopefully this will be up for PO around that time.
