I know price is the biggest issue, but I wonder how many robo fans aren't giving this fig a chance due to their hatred for EBa.

I think the enterbay Robocop is better because its more screen accurate. The colour scheme on the ht Robocop is way too silver(yes I know the enterbay one is silver too but not that silver) Also the proportions of the enterbay figure are much more accurate. Small things like the gap between the arm and torso of the ht figure look off and the legs are too skinny. I think over time people will come to appreciate the enterbay figure more.

can't wait to get the ht version in, I will compare the two
Agree with you about the color, the eb version looks more gray to me and the ht is silver
It's a plus/minus on the arm peg on the ht version, it gives a lot more articulation but can make the figure look bad sometime

Either way, I couldn't be happier that these companies are producing quality robo figures

I don't think it is just the hatred for EB, a lot of people just can't buy any other brand but Hot Toys because in their mind if it is made by Hot Toys then it is better in every way, since it is a figure made by Hot Toys.

Yeah but it's not just silver it's shiny silver, it looks ****ing stupid. The BD one doesn't have shiny Silver so that is why it looks better than the clean one as it is less blinding.

Scored this guy for $425 shipped from a local seller. Really awesome piece! I was surprised how plastic-y it seemed when I first opened it up, I was expecting more heft. But once I tinkered with it and displayed it, I knew it was a serious keeper! Mechanics all work. A little gimmicky and will probably never use. Will also never use the part 3 parts, so I essentially paid what I feel a bare-bones Robo 1 is worth in this scale so I'm glad I got it!

Congrats on such an amazing deal on an even more amazing piece!
While I have absolutely zero regrets about paying full price on this guy, it would've been awesome to have paid $400!

Enjoy it, it sure is a beauty!

I initially felt that way too. Once I got done handling and adjusting to desired pose and then finally set into Detolf display. It looked pretty solid and sturdy. I hardly ever think about it's weight or made of material factor. This figure is a BEAST to look at!

IMO, it has a very strong shelf presence and looks fantastic from any angle and distance.

My 1/4 EB batman begins figure also feels light, but like this robo, is a stunner to the eye

Congrats on getting your purchase the face plates are so realistic and way better likeness than Hot Toys Robocop. :clap

Well it is an action figure, do u expect it to be heavy as a polystone statue just because they are the same size? :huh

absolutley not, both for their size, I think both of the EB figures feel lighter than what I would expect from a 1/4 scale figure
Especially when you compare it to the ht hulk

Wow they must be super light then because the Hot Toys Hulk didn't feel heavy at all when I picked it up. In fact it felt lighter than the EB Joker.

IMO, the ht hulk feels just as heavy as the 1/4 ebs and is smaller
Again, I'm not expecting them to feel like a poly stone statue, just more heavy than what they are. It makes me understand why some say the ebs feel cheap

Yeah. Much like the 1/4 HT bats... That thing feels like a product made out of mother****ing love for the character. Heavy, quality is top notch, etc etc. Still, I prefer the look of the "cheap" EB one tbh.

I'm assuming the same on the HT Robo. Even at 1/6 in sure that thing feels like a sturdy figure. The EB one? It's even lighter than the Hulk like my man here says. Fact.

Looks? It craps on the HT one any day.

I got my HT Robocop earlier today. It's a great figure in itself but it also has it's flaws. The silver paint is too bright. Thight and lower legs lack bulkiness. The arm and leg joints look off. I mean, it doesnt look like a person's arm and leg are inside of the joints. EB did a great job on the leg joints by making it wide and in a flat black color.
