They really need to fix the suit. Stuff it or try a fabric based approach or something. It could be so much better than this. Right now it looks like a halloween costume.

I'm sure they will. MOS looked like a walking doughnut when first unveiled.

I hope so. I'm not buying but I'll be watching with interest, hoping the final product will turn out great. It's one of those "if I had more money and room" licenses for me.

Really on the fence with this. I don't like the idea of the rubber body suit or the look of it. I kind of want it, but I think I'm going to wait for the final release pics before making a decision.
Do have to say that seeing Hot Toys start teasing other figures from the game beyond just the Joker would go a long way to pushing me to get this. For me personally, this is one of those licences where I need to see some kind of commitment from Hot Toys in order for me to be really interested. Its the primary reason I don't have a Wolverine... but then again that is another argument altogether.

Not sure if this was directed at me, but I know about the disclaimer stating "prototype show, final product may very" I just don't think we can expect very many changes if this figure really is being released in four months (I know a delay is very likely). Just speculation

He's clearly still in the honeymoon stage with Hot Toys (they can do no wrong). comparing rubber used for high end figures to boots is just ignorant, and believing a Chinese based high end figure manufacturer with a non existent customer relation track record has only our best interests in mind is as naive as it comes.
He is clearly only going to be a disruptive force here. Why these type of people come back here I'll never know.

If it's not convincing to you, then that's OK. Having been burned with HT's rubber before (DX-02, which had leaky abs that posing had nothing to do with), and having witnessed many other issues here (including the Comedian and both ED-209s, where again posing would no be an issue), I've learned to be wary, but I probably would still buy a rubber figure if it looked really good and was my only option.

The whole antagonistic way of blaming collectors handling them, the way they're displayed and "climate conditions" is the thing that gets me. Seems like provoking which is trolling.
The DX 02 abs didn't melt and leak because of the weather or a collector mistreating it. Comedian didn't melt because of someone handling it the wrong way. Both ED's didn't deteriorate because someone was being careless, other than Hot Toys.

Apparently we all do not know how to display our figures, and he does from his extensive experience. I know exactly where he displays his figures, the same place his head is firmly placed.

Anyone has any idea of when sideshow will update the release date? hopeffuly by Nov as that's when the first flex pay should be if indeed is coming out in Jan for USA.
