Well I'm mostly talking about Hot Toys, as that's all I buy from SSC.

The R2 is probably a much smaller run because SSC is a smaller company. Hot Toys prints so many of everything it's hard to not get one if you want it.

I called customer service and gave them feedback.
They said they couldn't edit an order currently and add codes, even though I asked.

I basically said, in a nice way, it would be good for the people who give you money up front to be able to get in on the savings.

He said others had called in with similar comments and he would pass it along.

Yes, and that's not that useful when I have a pen and a piece of paper. It would be useful if the code automatically applied to any outstanding order if it was in the time period when it was available. I see no reason why it shouldn't work that way.

SSC is basically screwing the people who pay them early with an NRD, vs the people who wait around for codes.
Another reason to hate NRDs or just shop elsewhere.
I'm sure SSC doesn't care, as they are constantly trying to hype impulse buys, (In a market of consumers prone to impulse buys) but it's something to think about.

The benefits to NOT having a PO at Sideshow outweigh the benefit of having one.
I could keep my money til release (Money that I can't get back btw), save 20 bucks, and still get the item.

They print so many of these damn things now it's never going to sell out, so missing out isn't really a concern. Even the exclusives usually convert.

I have basically gotten a figure from SSC over the last year from free codes if you add them all up, so i agree they are really screwing us over

I wouldn't say they are screwing us intentionally. But screwed is still screwed.
More of an oversight.

So many choices to buy toys these days. Make it easy on me to give you my money for worthless plastic or I'll go elsewhere haha.

I try to use every $20 code I can so I've saved enough for a least 1 figure using them. Plus the free reward point codes they were giving away last year was almost another figure. I got a code for 10% off the X-Force Deadpool PF and another 10% off the Harley PF. All that doesn't even include all the reward points I've earned from purchases. Sideshow is by far the most generous company I've dealt with--which is why they continue to have my business.

Wish those International $25 discounts could be used on pre-orders.

Only order Exclusives direct, Regs are cheaper locally, so never get to use mine.

I had $50 and after my GC today i STILL have $50. I called and supposedly they cap it at $50. So even if you had 4 items ship out to you and you get GCs worth $25 each, you'll only end up with $50 regardless of whether it should be $100

It's actually $100. The max amount you can use at one time is $50. So if you use $50 you will S have $50 left. You can try and see.

At least that was how it was for me until it mysteriously disappeared from my account. I didn't care much cause like Col said you rarely get to use it.

It's a promotion that only works on certain items.
I think you need the page open for a while. I got a 5% off Hulk Maquette a few weeks ago...Already got him.
