This is becoming my favorite marvel thread. Loved the derailment guys. Fun playful art war there. Got to see some great prints. Love everything Hulk so that was a win for me. I happen to have a pair of SS pom poms and XM knee pads. Clueless that there were others with those as well. Nice!

I think the issue with the shield is not that it looks bad, but that it doesn't look like what was intended in proto. There is no highlights in the raised areas. Not say it looks bad, just different. I don't have a problem with it (in fact, thinking about pulling trigger), but I can see what some may have issues with.

Hmmmm... Well this is just my opinion but I think the Shield looks good. If anything was going to be not exactly like the proto I would pick the Shield.

Wow Jaws. That is the best body paint on a g hulk I've seen yet! And your Spidey paint app looks phenomenal as well.

DING DING DING DING DING DING........EXACTLY!!!! The round trim along the shield and the thunderbolts that emanate from the middle sculpture of the shield do not have the gold highlights like the SS painted up pictures. Thanks skillet!

This makes the shield look flat overall and doesn't accentuate the relief sculpture on the shield like it should.

That's pretty much what I have been talkin about.

Believe me when I say this... and ask around. I am the first to complain and ***** when SSC screws up. Weather it is before, during, or after the product is released. If I don't like something I let my voice be heard. Having said that... I am beyond shocked at the complaining that some are doing about the shield... I am not saying you shouldn't or that you can't... I am just surprised that it is an issue at all because it is still very nice. Just as SSC showed us? No. But it still looks great. IMO anyways.

It's a great piece... There really is nothing to come down on. Well Skirt could be a little better but it still looks good.

I'd never order anything with the intent of going thru that hassle. It's not worth it, when a statue turns out as badly as Rogue Poison Ivy and Ultron I think customers should raise hell. Other times I look at these pictures that are zoomed in 400x and I scratch my head

Yeah I see it now, and I get what you and Yank have been trying to say about the gold highlights on the shield. Yeah they should be there, but it doesn't take away to much from the piece for me.... It still looks EPIC.

If I am going to be critical enough to adjust the brows by 1/4 of an inch on the XM Magneto I have to be just as critical with an SSC piece... I just couldn't see what they were talking about till loric showed it to me. I see it now, and I agree that SSC should have added the gold highlights to the raised portions of the shield. However, if I had this piece was coming to my doorstep it wouldn't bother me. Finally I have to say I am disappointed that I lost my PO on this one with my local AD when he went out of business, but I would have had to cancel it anyway. It is an amazing piece... absolutely AWESOME.

Oh and JAWS it was a lot of fun m8. Anytime you want me to school you in the work of various artists just let me know...

If I am going to be critical enough to adjust the brows by 1/4 of an inch on the XM Magneto I have to be just as critical with an SSC piece... I just couldn't see what they were talking about till loric showed it to me. I see it now, and I agree that SSC should have added the gold highlights to the raised portions of the shield. However, if I had this piece was coming to my doorstep it wouldn't bother me. Didn't say I wasn't happy with it, I said I wasn't happy with certain parts of it. Mainly the fake leather which feels very cheap and is extremely thin. The base has a pretty blah paint job as well. Other than that, it's pretty well put together and VERY heavy...which I'm happy about. Overall I gave the piece 7/10.

I'm happier than a dog in ****, I live an aweome life.....when I receive something not as advertised I'm gonna say something about it. Why is this concept so foreign on this form?

I just couldn't see it before loric PMed me. You are both right it shouldn't have been overlooked. Now if I was getting it wouldn't bother me personally, but I get the criticism.
