No but I didn't really go into it, I figure a girl in customer sales really doesn't want to hear my theories about line web thickness or shades of blue:p

Yeah. Just figured they might have a generic message about it, or even maybe a "Sorry the manufacturing plant messed up, we won't be using them again" or something along those lines.

My aunt missed my shipment. Waiting on wife now so I can go pick it up at the nearest location. Talk about impatience lol

MY PAINT APPS FOR MY EX CAME IN AWESOME! Foot flushes beautifully. No flaws. Great lines. No sloppiness. I scored a good one! I mean a real good one. Very close to the proto. Finally I get a good copy!

Hope I get a good one :) here's hoping

Nice Eli :clap
What's your take on the choice of colours used? Glossy in person?

Not glossy at all. People need to take photos with 1) without a flash, 2) crappy iPhone cameras and 3) in proper lighting. It's not up to the standards to the prototype, but no piece is. We have to remember, these are painted by factory workers on a line vs. a master painter that spends hours meticulously painting Sideshow's prototype. But mine is close. All the lines connect. There is no bleed over of red into the skin like some have shown. Lots of orange hues highlight the red areas, and the shading is very good in the blue parts of his costume. Oh and it has a lot of weight. The base itself is very sturdy and solid. Good weight to hold Spidey from tipping over, because he comes out pretty far. Noticed the weight compared to the girls right away. In fact he ways more than the two girls combined. Don't quote me on that, but I am quite confident it is. The magnets are really strong on this piece as well, which would be necessary considering how the arms fit into the piece.

I take back what I said before. I couldn't help but be a bit pessimistic, because I have had a lot of bad history recently with getting crap product from the company. This one is a home run for me and I am pretty picky.

Where the F are the photos Eli???

;) ;) ;)

I still stand by saying Mary Jane is over priced by a sickly margin. When you see the scale of both Gwen Stacy and Spider-Man and the heft behind them.... Even the complexities of the posing and sculpts, not to mention MJ is the hollow piece of the bunch, but sells for $20 and 50 less respectively than the aforementioned pieces, it makes you wonder why they couldn't have brought her down to at least 200 bones. And by 200 bones, that's still too much IMO. I am being nice. 150 would be more realistic. Having said that, she does look great with the other two.

I'll try and take pics. I need to find my DSLR charger first or else I become a hypocrite. I am not taking a pic with my iPhone. It's a 4. Very dated.

Just picked up the box. Major small compare to my last few. Tomorrow's my 31st bday so perfect timing SS! Will post some pics later
