They're probably doing the Cell saga more so due to the figures being branded under Kai, which never went up to the Buu saga (yet, from what I've heard) instead of DBZ, which is odd. Of course, if Original Animation Colors Vegeta is released under the Kai brand, that'll make no sense

Yeah I always figured the green tint was to indicate his "Legendary Super Saiyajin" status, why he's an anomoly compared to other Super Saiyans (and I'm assuming past LSSjs also had a greenish tint to their hair, but it doesn't matter)

Maybe someone will get creative and add small clay trap sculpts to him so we can see if it looks better, or looks awkward lol

Like I said folks, its not as noticeable, but the shading is definitely a green tinge as opposed to Gohans orange.

To me, the green is what makes Brolys transformation unique, if its yellow its just ascended ssj.

@Cloud In Second Coming he looses the green, because the control device effect for off.

SSj Broly doesn't have a green tint, because he's SSj. But Legendary SSj has the green tint in all the movies.

The control device has nothing to do with it, it only restricted him from going SSJ (making his hair blueish) but when it broke, so did it's effects. Legendary SSj is just greenish, I don't know why.

In the second coming, he could transform into SSj like normal (no green) But Legendary SSj still caused the green tint even then.

Gah... The more I look at Broly's figure, the more those shoulders bug me. I really hope the joints allow for them to drop.

If you look at his arm pit, you can see all the range of motion that his clavicle joint allows, surly we can lower his shoulders.

All that would be fine Bardoon, but the problem is that EVERY dragonball figuarts already is an exclusive in Asian territories, so all that happens regardless. I do agree that sdcc shouldnt be used to sell a new mould figure but wrong colours Vegeta is far from a solid choice, seeing how many people wanted a ssj Vegeta and thats the only way to reissue him.

Well they could re-release him much like they did SSJ Goku. Maybe just alter his colors slightly so the first release is still considered "special".

SSj Goku was a normal release in Japan, they can reissue those as much as they want. Vegeta was a web exclusive, they have some politics to deal with in order to re release him (if they can)

Broly looks awesome. My brother loved the character and had that initial crappy Bandai "Super Battle Collection" release when we lived overseas (with yellow, not gold hair). Glad to see him make it to the line!

Android 16 looks extremely sharp as well. Looks like Bandai is doing a good job keeping these in-scale with the recent releases.

Someone need to photoshop broly to check how he'd look like with a longer neck with bigger traps and/or lower shoulders. I think the high shoulders are the issue. His shoulders and chest are a little bit more deformed than it should be. But maybe he has been sculpted like this for articulation purposes.

I'm still with the opinion that they should have waited for scouter and error colored vegeta till they released a proper Saiyan Saga Vegeta with the much much less toned muscular body mold , in the saiya in saga he's almost pudgy . If they ever use the ssj goku mold to give is younger goku with patch on chest and back and yellow stripe boots with nimbus and power pole I will be mad . But happy if it's the only one :/ so they might do it baca use they know it will still sell

Yes, but it is the intention of Toriyama who counts, i think his prefer yellow, because is the original color of SS, even though people prefer green because they think that is the color of the legendary.

But your right, is only my opinion.

You have a point. When looking at Toriyama's sketches for Broly, his hair is just yellow** (HOWEVER, we don't know if he actually colored it himself, or someone else did after the fact. Why color only 1 part and not the rest?)




But for the official poster/boxart for the OVA that was released in 1993 (damn I'm old), his color is the signature "neon green," which a lot of people find more appealing, myself included





**now that i look at it, it seems the engineers for Broly based the figure off this original artwork alone. if you think about it, it makes sense. notice Broly doesn't have traps there either, or they're just very very unnoticeable
