I just don't have any room for them. If I do display them, I want to display them behind a glass cabinet. So it won't get all dusty.

Yea, I totally understand Tam. Hence why I have purchased display cases for all those pieces that I have currently on display. I will be posting some pics of my recent glass display case purchased for my custom Iron Man MKVI 1:1 bust....so stay tuned

WOW Steve are you trying to get me into lifesize now im sure the wife would not be happy Looks okay doesn't it...Well, talking of Preds, my custom 1/4 P1 finally ships tomorrow so I cant wait!!! gonna post some update pics today/tomorrow of how it currently looks which were posted on facebook over the weekend. Nice to see the added touches of a separate base for the alternate headsculpt plus I was excited to see a light up Predator logo on the actual base which is a really cool touch! All in all, I'm excited as anything to get my first Pred....now lets pray that no mandibles get damaged during shipping

Is the Punisher PF the next arrival for you mate? Looking forward to that...should be arriving sometime at the end of this month isn't it?

Wow Andy. Just got the chance to peak at your IM repaint. That came out phenomenal. It looks light years better. It just makes me hate iron studios a little more as they could have painted and released a beautiful ironman statue had they taken the time and painted it like yours. Very nice buddy

Yeah should be Punisher unless my Batman PF shows up. The guy at ComixBazar said he expecting stock between March & April but I'm guessing Punisher will arrive 1st. I'm looking at ordering a SDS Stormtrooper helmet so that may even be my next piece. I think it's bit of a sin not owning any SW memorabilia

Looks way better . How do they let the originals go out with such off paint is beyond me. Well worth the time and money as its a great statue.

Thanks Matt I know right...the paint apps on the production piece was so far off from the proto...however, I always knew when picking this statue up for a steal back in December, that I was going to get it repainted...otherwise I would have left this one well alone and waited for Sideshow's upcoming MK42 Maquette

Hey Marc, thanks so much buddy yep, couldn't agree more in regards to expecting Iron Studios to at least have got it 60% close to the paint apps used for their proto...instead what we got was around 25%

Can't wait for Punisher mate...all the feedback so far has been positive...a bit similar to the Deadpool PF (which I think you've also got right?) and positive feedback on Sideshow statues is something of a rarity these days what with the Iron Man MKVI LSB fiasco and the current abuse the Christopher Reeve Superman PF is getting

WOW, wasn't expecting you to get involved with 1:1 helmets...do you have any other collectibles that aren't 1/4 scale? Still, the SDS helmet is pretty cool and a definitive Star Wars prop right there! How comes you didn't go for any of the other SW PF's? The Droids PF is a great piece to own as a solitary SW collectible. Those guys are just iconic...I think both are now sold out on the SSC website although quite a few Regs have sold on Ebay recently...

I only have the Droids PF EX and a Stormtrooper PF to cover my theme of Star Wars. I cant see myself selling them (unless it was a swap with the regular version) but I'm holding out for a new Vader...whether it be in 1/4 scale or an LSF...that will determine whether or not I sell my Stormtrooper or not. I'll give it until SDCC 2015

No nothing! I used to own quite a few SS 1/6 figures like Vader, Stormtrooper, Boba Fett to name a few but I was never really happy with them. To small I guess I've got some master replica lightsabers but my little boy has claimed them but other than that no. I've always wanted a Boba Fett PF, nearly went for one the other day but someone on here kindly told me SS are working on a new Boba PF so I'll probably wait for that now. I don't own any props either I ordered the 1/1 Pred 1 bio, I guess that's what triggered me to look for a stormtrooper helmet. I probably won't go any further than that though prop wise.

When it comes to PF's I much prefer there comic versions to there real life human ones. I used to own the Indy ROTLA PF but didn't like it & Gandalf the Grey which I actually regret selling to be honest.

Yeah it's going to be awesome when the Punisher arrives though, I can't wait for that. Looking forward to seeing your custom Pred shots, hopefully not long now

Grats on Ironman friend. Amazing how paintjobs can make a figure almost seem like a different figure.
the Production paintjob almost looks like a figure that's lower quality than Hot Toys.
But with the new paint, it looks almost like the movie costume.

Thanks Dave, much appreciated buddy Oh yes, in this case the MK42 repaint was way out of my jurisdiction in regards to skill levels so I had to call in the big guns! my friend is a pro painter and did a swell job on this one. However, the majority of dioramas and custom repaints and fixes that you see on my thread have been done by me...

They did it last time they visited the Bayern Arena (albeit against a weakened Bayern side) but its achievable!. With that said, I hate Arsenal so I'm going for a Bayern home win only kidding mate

Okay, should be posting pics up today of the custom P1 Pred, if not tomorrow. I really wanna show you how my Iron Man lifesize bust collection is looking as I recently acquired my new display case for my MKVI 1:1 Bust. Looks pretty cool.

In regards to Gladiator Hulk, it was a toss up between him and the Wonder Woman PF Exclusive. In the end I chose Wonder Woman because it was more important to complete the Comic Trinity display for DC like I've done with my Comic Avengers set up for my Marvel collection. Besides, Hulk Gladiator has no Exclusive as far as I know and so I'd imagine that Lee should be getting in a few of these so I'm sure I'd have enough time to wait for those inhand pics and get him later down the line. He's a character I'm not too familiar with (bit like Skaar) so although its an awesome looking piece, its not one that I'd be too disappointed about missing out on if you know what I mean I'm sure your more a comic fan than I am so no doubt you know the story very well regarding Gladiator Hulk...I think it would look great in your collection buddy

Yeah your already got 2 great Hulk statues which I know off & one being the classic Kirby Hulk PF but a collector like yourself I would think could never have to many Hulks could they?

I'm routing for you mate! All you need to do is keep it tight at the back (regardless of Vermaelen playing at left back instead of the injured Gibbs) and then get that early goal! As for Juve, I think we can safely say that we've won the Serie A league already again!!! Not too bothered about the Europa Cup mate, Champions League is really where its at and we were just not good enough with that said, the final is actually at Juve's stadium I think so that's a nice touch if we can get there

Yea, got the Kirby Hulk PF and the Avengers Maquette. Have to say, the Hulk PF is actually one of my all time favs in my collection. Has to be up there in my top 3. Not so much because of just how good it looks and the sheer size, etc...its more to do with how long and hard it was to actually track one down...and when I did, it was luckily through a guy in France so that already eliminated having to pay HUGE import fees to get it over to London, plus I paid something like $1150 for it which in this day and age was an absolute steal!!

I think I'd be happy with the two Hulks mate...Iron Man aside, I'm not one to have more than 2 or 3 of the same character in my collection so we'll see about Gladiator Hulk nearer the time. Then you have those other Hulk PF variants announced by Sideshow that still have to arrive so they'll be plenty to choose from. So far, what would you say is your most favourite piece in your collection Steve....and why? I think so far mine is a toss up between the MKIII LSF and the custom MKI LSF...they are just two pieces that I could just stare at all day and admire

Yea, Cedric at Comix is pretty cool. I purchased the SSC Iron Man MKIII 1:1 bust from him last year. Speedy delivery and good packaging so I doubt there's anything to worry about.

Talking of the Bats PF Steve, i'll be adding another update along with the Pred pics of the custom Batman PF alternate head that I've got coming...
