Ordered but there is still inaccuracies in the second tray on the right and the bottom tray on the left, when I heard of this I was hoping they would have this perfect with the tray items

Missed this amidst all the holiday business and while I'm surprised in that I didn't know this was on their radar, I'm not surprised in the double dip / cash grab aspect of it.

I love TDK and started collecting 1:6 because of it, but I'm to the point where I can't continue to be constantly upgrading to the latest redo. I don't blame them since clearly there is a market for it, but I guess I'm both content with what I have and tired of the game.

For years I was happy with my own custom built armory. When Toys Legend offered theirs I upgraded because it was vastly better than my effort and affordable. This HT version doesn't seem that much better, and while I like the remote lighting option, it's not enough to convince me to swap. Honestly, I don't care for the use of the Dark Knight logo on the base as it just takes some of the realism out of the piece.

I have a kitbash Bruce that I prize and am very happy with. And while I've gone back and forth on whether to add peripheral characters such as Alfred and Fox to my collection, I'm not ready to pony up for this just to get him.

For those that missed out on earlier releases and are getting this, congrats. I'm sure it will look great and keep all those who prefer brand names happy. Hot Toys seems to keep giving us all second (and third) chances....I'm just ready to fill other, (non Nolanverse) holes in my 1:6 collection.

see I don't really look at this as an upgrade to anything mainly because I want the suit hanging in the armory, rather than putting the armor on Bruce. So to me, if people have previous versions of any TDK or DX figures, really this piece stands alone by itself. Plus we finally get a Bruce Wayne thats officially licensed in his suit thats far far far better than Medicoms. And we get Alfred!!!!!! I dont buy custom figures, so this piece is really a big deal for me as im mainly a Batman/Nolan Trilogy collector, and I have been wanting this for such a long time from HTs. I didnt want to pull the trigger on Toy Legends or anything else, I just waited patiently for HTs versions all these years. I knew they would make them once people started making their own and HTs saw the demand for them :)

Also I think for the most part just have to accept in this hobby that figures will constant get better and upgraded when there is an opportunity. HTs themselves can see their stuff gets better, they get better talent, their skills improve every release. They want better figures themselves. It shows to me they care and dedicated about achieving accurate likeness. Others think they are just being greedy, but i will always disagree with that. Sure you may not like a figure they produce or not care about a release, but we don't know them personally, and we dont work for them. And theres way too much that goes on behind the scenes making just 1 figure, I think people get a little spoiled by them because there stuff is so good, they think they can do anything at the blink of an eye. A delay in a release they announce could be any number of reasons like approval delays from the companies that hold the license as they have stated many times in interviews.

Anyway, this is an amazing piece I think, and can't wait to get this whenever it comes out :)

Or just order one from Sideshow and one from BBTS.

BBTS is $624.99 as well. Identical prices.

They charge the same price (MSRP) now because they don't have a NRD so people order through them :cuckoo: I'd rather pay a NRD on something I KNOW I be getting and earn Reward Points and possibly even use Flex Pay. I don't know why people think no cancellation fee or NRD is the way to go. If you're going to get it, then is shouldn't matter. Its all of the unsure people that order from BBTS.

i will wait until these are parted out and pick up an alfred and the bruce wayne suit. no need to spend the money if one already has the TL version of this.

I calculated the prices of the last few release, including the Chitauri set, Hulk/Banner set and several others, and came up with the difference of the Sideshow price. Its @ 12% on every figure.

So assuming SS will use that same formula, which I see no reason why they won't, the prices should be very near these.

MMS234 - Armory and Batman ( 2330 HK - $300 USD ) SS - $337
MMS235 - Armory, Batman and Alfred ( 3330 HK - $430 USD ) SS - $482
MMS236 - Armory, Batman, Alfred and Bruce ( 3930 HK - $507 USD ) SS - $570

So even if its a little higher, I'm going to guess at SSC, they will be @ here.

MMS234 - $350
MMS235 - $500
MMS236 - $600

According to the LCS here that always follows SS's MSRP on HT figures,

MMS 234 @ $370
MMS 235 @ $525
MMS 236 @ $620

I was close, you and your comic show were spot on. :clap:clap

Either way, $625 is a ton of money, but a very good good for 3 figures and a diorama.

I'm surprised the full set is only $100 more than Alfred and the Armory; not a bad price for all 3.

phew!!!! that price was perfect and all the little SSC Christmas rewards points came in handy :)

Ordered Full Set!!!:yess:
