We've got a Broken Arrow.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Can someone photoshop his eyes red to see what it would look like?

Just the pupils, or the full on MOS laser eyes effect?

That looks cool. Might have to buy another HS and try that lol. Just the pupils. But wouldn't mind seeing full laser effect.

I did that a while back on a Cap bootleg head. I drilled the pupils and thinned out the head behind the eyes so the LEDs would shine through enough.
It would look great on the MOS sculpt. You cannot tell till the LEDs are turned on.

16k was bang-on about what he said for those of us in Europe ordering from Hong Kong. We really are better off even with the mark-up.

I don't order from SS anymore, except when paying the extra is actually worth it, like potentially with larger vehicles and the like. Sure you pay around $100 more from HK, but it balances out almost entirely on most purchases.

And as has been said when you can get it early too, its a clear-cut choice.

I normally go through that, how much does each week that I have it early actually cost! It's negligible. :lol

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

I'm with you a-dev and Rory. It's Timcent for me every time now. I wrote a massive post last night responding to a few comments that the only reason we buy early is to be the first to post 'in hand pics'. But I didn't post it in the end, didn't think it was necessary to justify why I buy from HK. You guys and 16k have said it perfectly well.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

That makes sense. If the body is 28cm from neck to ankle, and if you allow 2 more centimeters for boots, topped off with about 3cm for the head, you're looking at 33cm which would be about 13 inches.

Just curious, if I want to customize a Clark Kent, would normal 1/6 clothes fit or would be it be too tight on the shoulders and hanging due to the long torso?

Of course, it works against guys in the US that we in Europe are willing (with our own good reasons) to pay these prices.

$130 over retail to get him a month early. Pathetic.

+1.

And, for the most part, you'd be surprised how many US buyers do this.

For UK freaks: Doesn't mothers basement offer HT pieces at decent prices though? How about OSB? I'm curious.

Do you guys think using the wired cape from kotobukiyas 1.6 man of steel statue or the movie icon mos 1.6 statue would be a good swap for the hot toys one?

You might be able too, looks like I know why the collar is big now it's pegged into the cape

:nono Something is off about the head sculpt now. I can't put my finger on it but it doesn't look as spot on as it did before? :ohbfrank:
