Premium Format Crimson Baroness PF statue by SSC limited to 200

I think most people who wanted it in Red prior to knowing the ES probably got it. There's always those who work or are otherwise preoccupied, think they have time to order later expecting a higher ES, don't check the site until later and ultimately miss out. That's how I missed the Droids last year. Didn't check the order page or a forum until I got home later that night after expecting a regular size ES.

On that same token, you're right. This wasn't a one hour sell out. It's those who knew this went up but ignored it because they weren't interested, later found out the ES is 200, and now wish they would have known and ordered it that really missed out.

The difference between this and the Droids is this listed there were only gonna be 200 made from the start. When the Droids posted they did not list the Edition Size. So, everyone thought they had plenty of time to get one. Myself included. I did however end up getting a set from the Waitlist in the end.

No, they did not. It was Listed as TBA.
They didn't list the Edition Size till Ten days After it Sold Out taking Everyone by surprise.

Yeah I'm not sure why the comparison keep happening between the two ladies but I realize it's the variants. Factually, Baroness did have three different looks in comics so it fits. People loved the black Baroness outfit PF when it came out and it sold out fast. Sideshow made the variant classic and people dropped her thinking "oh no, she's worthless now--better sell fast!" As I said, she's one of the nicest looking Sideshow females and amazing paint and I think people need to appreciate that again. Regardless, I loved GI Joe as a kid and will keep her as a nice stand alone in ether Red or Black. Low Es will always sell better than retail but I'm not a flipper anyway so don't care. I watched the "Classic" review on youtube and it looked really nice too. I'm sure she'll get the respect she deserves once again soon.

I think that a lot of the people who bought the black Baroness PF are not really GI Joe fans. They bought the statue because it looks nice and thought that it can hold its value when it's time to sell it to make room for another statue. Thus, it's not surprising when the same people started to panic and sell off the statue when they saw a variant come out.

I think that this statue looks nice and deserves to sell for more than retail. However, it doesn't help that there are so many new statues coming out and people have limited display space, including myself. Thus, you'll eventually have to sell some statues to make room for new ones. If more GI Joe fans start collecting statues, that will help the value of this statue. It will also help if Sideshow starts producing more statues from the GI Joe line so that people have more options to display the Baroness with.

I was going back and forth about which version to get and the exclusive sold out. No one knew it would have a tiny edition size at the time.

I prefer the regular (which was the reason for the hesitation) but now wish I ordered both.

Yeah I agree, she would look great next to a Destro PF. I saw a pic of her displayed next to Ms Marvel and they both looked beautiful next to one another. There are 3200 of her. In a few years, she will be settled into peoples collections I'm sure. If I get a Crimson I'm keeping her unless job loss, other things need me to clear out space. The Black Baroness suddenly isn't going for as cheap as she was on ebay in the last few days either so people I think are realizing this PF isn't going to be produced in an overkill ES. I wish I had grabbed a black one when she was going for $250-275 with desperate sellers trying to get rid of her 'cause they thought she was losing value fast. Suddenly she's going for $450-500+ on average again for a mint Black Ex.

Those are the navy version though. My preference is red or black.

I agree that she'll look great next to Destro. Also on my wish list are the Crimson Guards. I'd like to have a display with her on the middle with two Crimson Guards on either side of her. However, I doubt if Sideshow will ever produce them. Destro is more possible and that will be awesome.

I want a firefly pf...at this point id be happy with a statue too....actually just a sneak of anyone to show the line is still going, rehashed variants don't instill a lot of confidence in the line.

Just going to post what I already said on SF

I really dislike the color choices, and the armor on the back of the calves should at least match the red. This doesn't match at all, there are like 4 different color schemes going on, and the blacks stick out like a sore thumb. The dagger is a nice touch but not too practical, fits better on CC. And is there no holster anymore? Yikes that fabric....

As being a huge baroness fan I would be pretty disappointed with this offering, I thank god I can make my own from a black baroness, and not have to worry about ponying up the $ to try and get this.
I will be adding a braid to mine, I wanted to do it on my first crimson baroness but the client declined, I saw it on a cosplayers costume thought it looked good, even picked out the braid at a joanns.

Oh and if you look at the boots, the front is clearly a leather as well as the shoe, and the armor on top and the back are armor.
