That looks great user. How did you get the suit on and off? I had to cut a slit along the spine to peel the old body out. Mine has the Routh head but looks good too.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Just realized. It's the DC Direct outfit. Zipper in the back. Nice work. And nice pose.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Can't wait to pose this guy next to my CR Superman.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Have not ordered, because it looks less like Cavill than the HT sculpt does. The HT sculpt is actually why I ordered in the 1st place.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Cant wait to get this guy.he looks amazing.I loved the movie.I Po on bbts and ssc.Only thing i am concerned about with ssc is when they ship out these ht figures they use the brown shipper box only.bbts puts the brown shipper box within bubble wrap and in a bigger box.i ordered my evil superman from ssc for the first time and it came in just the brown shipper and there where dings on the box.luckily the inner superman box was not damaged.a bit scuffed but no dents

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

:wink1: Cheeky wink icon, folks...cheeky wink icon :wink1:

It was meant to be a cheeky but short replay of the argument we've already had ad nauseum re which is best. However, certain observations did occur to me from the replies...

1) Everyone that answered missed totally that it was a jokey reply.
2) It's REEVE not Reeves, that was an altogether different Superman.
3) Not one Pro-Reeve (as it were) supporter posted...they clearly got that it was meant as a joke, or just did not bother.
....

REEVE REEVE REEVE REEVE REEVE REEVE REEVE REEVE REEVE REEVE REEVE REEVE

Like him or not as Superman, show some respect and spell his last name right.

Mind blowing.

:goodpost:YES!!! ugh I really do hate it when ppl get that wrong, especially since my favorite Superman until Henry Cavil was George Reeves

Thats fine: just please no innuendo that those who feel the opposite are.not only wrong but stupid. That is not really aimed at you or anyone else in this thread its just kind of a pervasive undercurrent in these discussions.

....

That's what really grinds my gears when these discussions arise. but it's one of those inevitable things that usually happens anyway

I will never, ever understand you people - and you're in many hobbies, your name is Legion - who get bent out of shape over a BROWN SHIPPER having dings and dents in it. It is, after all, a box making its way through the postal/package shipment service. And its not levitating as it goes.

Where do you store your "mint" brown shippers? I am still puzzling over where to put Loki's HT box, much less a brown shipper!

Years ago I knew a woman in the model horse hobby who had a trailer behind her house, full of nothing but "mint" shipper boxes. If she got an item and the shipper was dinged she would demand a refund.

Good luck storing a hundred "mint" brown shippers; I could only dream of having that kind of space. I am doing good to find a spot for the actual collectible, much less two boxes each.

Space for just one actually, see....I'd put the box inside the brown shipper.

uh i think you misunderstood me.I can careless about the brown shipper box.BUT thats the only thing between the box and the actual superman box dude.AND that's what i care about the box from the figure man.if that ding or dent was any bigger or deeper i am sure the actual superman box will get damaged. You might not care about the actual figure box but i do.And its a nice design of a box.And if i decide to sell it later on it will hold its value.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

I don't care if the shipper is damaged. That's what the shipper is for. To stop damage from happening to the actual package.
I keep my HT boxes inside the shippers. But don't fret it is the shipper is damaged(More often than not, the friend of mine that ships my HT figures to me tapes over the shipper identification print).
It's just a box.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

I rather took umbrage at the 'you people' comment. That has its nose far too high in the air, presumably to be looked down, for my liking.

Who are 'you people' exactly?

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Yea I'm not so worried about the shipping box either. My main concern is if the damage outside the shipper makes it's way too the artbox which is why I try to avoid buying from SS (unless there's an EX I want) after getting more than one damaged artbox from them.
