Actually Action Figure Xpress was cheaper. 188 for Batman and 174 for Robin. Unfortunately they sold out in a few days.

Animarket may be cheap, but I bet they get you on shipping. Since they are in Australia/Hong Kong.

Shipping is about $50 for both together so still ends up cheaper than sideshow.

Well considering that its from the movie all the accessories from the movie are included... Except for the Bat Kit... Missing the screwdriver and the magnifying glass....

Been away for a few days, just saw these. Man, do these things look great. Very happy that they included extra face sculpts with West. I even like the teeth sculpt. It looks excellent. May be the only teeth sculpt HT has done that I like thus far. As far as Batman goes anyway.

I think I will have to get these. A little over $400 after shipping for both, I think I can do that come April- or August after the delay.

Yeah I can't wait for these... I been watching the TV Series via YouTube... Bring back memories of watching the Reruns on FX when I was a kid...

One thing i was thinking is that if HTs is only doing Movie Figures (I dont think they have made any TV show figures before if im not mistaken), then this 1966 Batman series if they made more would only be characters that were in the movie

so of the main characters from the 1966 Movie

Batman
Robin
The Catwoman (Lee Meriwether not Julie Newmar)
The Joker
The Penguin
Riddler
Commissioner Gordon
Alfred

So if Lee Meriwether was Catwoman in the movie, then there might be no rights to make a Julie Newmar version.

The current conundrum (somewhat) is that SSC' website now have the title 'TV' attached to them.

HT would be absolutely stupid to not make Julie. Not because of my personal wishes, but because a large percentage of fans of the show would expect them to make her over any other actress in the costume.

..& btw they know how beloved this show is to fans. Their sphincters will hopefully loosen over the movie / TV semantics sillyness, once they have free reign on the license.

Whichever actress they make as Catwoman, the talent to create the other one as a replacement or alternate head exists right here on this forum.

Well my point was if they are only doing 66 Batman "Movie" figures, I don't think they could even make a Julie Newmar figure due to licensing because she was NOT in the Movie. But if they are considering these to be TV series, then its a different story.

Since both of these are labeled MMS 218/219 they are distinctly based on the film. If they did make any figures from the TV series, they would have a different moniker and a different numerical order. The only TV series figures HT have made were from 'Prison Break'. Not sure how they they were labeled.

No offense to the considerable talents of Lee Meriweather, but a Newmar body would require special engineering. They should release Gorshin Riddler instead.

Checked out their site. I did the yen to dollar conversion and they charge a lot for shipping. I am not familiar with their shipping methods, SAL, EMS, large packet? No thanks I will stick with UPS, FEDEx, USPS etc. I am not to confident in a package coming directly from Japan, not to mention a website with prices I have to convert. At least from the domestic website/shops their shipping is cheaper. Also if you look around the forums SS, BBTS, AE, and other local/domestic sites are the most common and reliable places collectors get their stuff from.
