I wonder if I should take this re-opening up of the Non-EX PO's as an admission of defeat in me getting an EX.

This is what I've just done. I've canceled my EX waitlist and just ordered the regular. I'm not really bothered about the empty cowl anyway.

How is BBTS shipping prices compared to SS? I'm thinking of canceling my BBTS pre order to grab a regular from SS, but its already an additional $35. Not sure if its worth it if shipping is a killer as well...

Ups ground with them is 6.50 plus .90 per pound and this is 14lbs. Should be just under $20 and they don't charge tax like sideshow does. I think I'll wait for Bbts and then I know it'll be packaged well and it'll give me time to get funds together.

I ordered mine August of this year....I feel I'm at an important crossroads in my collecting life and I don't know hitch way to turn.

I agree. For the time being what we see is what we're getting. What they've announced is merely taking their word for it. I'll believe it when I see something concrete.



Of course thats a reasonable assumption. You very well could be right. I just don't see why Chan would be nervous. Hot Toys is in the drivers seat. I absolutely love EBs efforts with their TDK line (despite the qc issues). I think the figures are world class and i'm never willingly parting ways with my OC Bats.

Looking at what HTs just produced with this Batman, i'm feeling like they should have no worries. Of course there is competition in business but you don't see Walmart worried about Target. Mcdonalds doesn't fear Burger King. The point is that HT has established itself as king of the hill. Others are going to try to climb but it's gonna take nothing short of a miracle to dethrone them.

Ht laughs at the competition- and rightly so. They are producing the finest Batman figure ever done with this- sell $$$$$ Iron Man and are the top of the top.
EB is competition but only in the slightest way. PI has proven , to me, to be vastly inferior in what they have done and what they preview.

I have SS Ex and reg from BBTS- don't worry about BBTS they are guaranteed reliable...I think they are the BEST onliner retailer out there for HT

I wouldn't worry. Bbts has never gone wrong by me. Just gotta find a way to be patient for an extra couple weeks.

From that angle I habe to agree. I think the hot toys one needs the right lighting to really shine.
