I wasn't keen on Skyfall either, there were too many nods to the past which didn't make sense when placed in the context of the modern Bond.

Couldn't agree more.

Though despite the flaws i thought it was positive but a far cry from the magic of Casino Royale.

The franchise last took a nosedive when they tried to compete with Hollywood. Sadly, they'll have to do the same now just to break even. Remains to be seen how much it suffers.

Wing Cmdr Ken Wallis, who built and flew Little Nellie in You Only Live Twice, has passed away.

Like he says, it's a low resolution colour print. Believe me, if you saw it up close you wouldn't be as impressed.

BTW, BB, you'd better head to your own thread, the natives are getting restless!

Mine has arrived.
I have to say that in hand, the HS is better than in some pics i have seen on the web.
I have to say too that the walther ppk is too small. i have posed it with the p99 for the pics.
Here are somo samples of it in" real" enviroment.
I haven repainted the eyes yet but i´m doubting if is necessary...

No, not keen at all, he's fallen into his style again. You can tell Spenser sculpts as much as you can Snyderman ones. They have too much of a uniform style.

They have to concentrate on each head individually and not fall into old habits. The Brosnan sculpt Spenser has done is a clear example of when it comes together the way it should.

I totally agree with Roger, while I will admit Brosnan is actually pretty solid the Connery I'd say right now has about a 20% likeness to the man, Spencer's style is overtly evident.

Iminime's non Rainman attempts have been pretty stunning lately, The Bride, Bateman, the revised fight clubs, the revised Spock. They have someone working there who is a true talent. I want to see them tackle Connery Bond. Or their Trevor Grove/ininime combo. Or even Rainman. We need a top talent on Connery, a top quality custom.

Connery Bond should be among the best of the best customs offered out there he should be right at the top of the pecking order. Also there should be countless heads of him out there like as generic body toppers from companies like Enterbay, and offered by companies like Eleven, headplay etc.

There should be no shortage whatsoever.

All true. Personally I feel that the Iminime team (true, the most recent sculpts have been quite good) is taking on too many projects, leading to delays.

I'd have to see more in hand pics of Iminime heads before I could really judge them. All the ones I have seen in in hand pics have been undersized.

This was definitely the case for most of the esrlu runs but that issue has since been corrected, Patrick Bateman marked a turning point for them, similar price range but none of their old flaws (undersized heads, crappy PVC shoes and bad tailoring)
