That's great. It really is a fantastic experience being a part of a production in any capacity. No documentary or featurette is like actually being there on set with the cameras rolling. The crazy thing is how long something takes to shoot with the camera set up and lighting for a scene that literally takes seconds. It really puts things in perspective.

And yeah, I've tried looking for myself many times but I never made it on camera. I've checked the actual movie where I was in the vicinity, special features, pics, and nothing. I was up by the pillars during the brawl and maybe 50 feet from Bale and Reeves duking it out. There's also the chance that a call back took my place on one of the following days and they used that footage instead. No idea. There's also the Art of the Dark Knight Trilogy book where I'm pretty sure it's my arm and leg. I was one of the dozen or so cops that they didn't really dirty up (which I thought was odd since continuity wise, GCPD was stuck down in a hole for 5 months).

The experience was still worth it. I'll never forget going out there and seeing that stuff from that perspective. Sometimes I drive past the location and think of it in a cinematic sense. I remember feeling like an idiot fighting and swinging aimlessly.

Yeah, it was hard to distinguish all the GCPD since you were all wearing the same costumes essentially. The mercenaries had more variety in the clothing. I was able to spot myself in several production photos in the extras. Was excited when the 1st trailer came out because I spotted myself, and I counted 13 shots that I was in in the entire film.

I totally have the same feeling. The last time I went back to Wall Street in New York, I just stood where we shot the fight as well as the charge for minutes just reminiscing the fun it was to shoot there. An amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience indeed. Glad to have shared it with you and the others you had mentioned.

Interesting turn of phrase. Miller was supposedly involved in this movie at some point. I thought Snyder met with Frank Miller at least once. Could've been discussed. I figure he and Miller know each other well enough after 300.

I do wonder what Miller and Nolan think of Affleck, though.

I think people are too quick to jump on the bandwagon on this. All the cool kids are fussing about it ... and everybody wants to be one of the cool kids. But, the cool kids don't know as much as they think they do. People hated the casting of Keaton and Ledger, and those turned out fine, or better. Maybe Snyder knows what he's doing. Maybe Affleck knows what he's doing. Maybe Kevin Smith wants to play The Penguin. Then again, maybe they've all lost their freaking minds.

Affleck is a strange choice. He fits the bill as Wayne. Difficult to see him as Batman ... but, stranger things have happened. Might be fine. Might not. Let it play out.

Who knows tho. The new suit may look amazing. What I wanna see is how they do the new Batmobile. The Nolan one was kinda cool. But it was more like a tank. I want something like the 89 Batmobile again.

I'm not sure what the hoopla about Affleck is. Have these people seen the last 3 movies he directed, starring in two of those? Also, keep in mind the two people who wrote Good Will Hunting: Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. ( Which they won an oscar for as well as for Argo.)So there's always been more to him.The dude has talent. I don't know what he'll look like in a cowl but we'll see.

People lost there **** when Keaton was announced as Batman and Ledger for Joker. There could much worse people considered for this role.

A pretty damn good actor and a critically acclaimed director? Ill take it.
