Hi i finally bit the bullet and mines on the way.
After reading all your posts espec JKNO on the 03-09-2013, 12:04 AM really sealed the deal for me on this piece.
Not to mention Aussie board members intel on popcultch Au significant price on this piece to 1200$ helped alot a deal to good to scoff at.

My budget usually allows me to spend 1x high priced SW item a year it was either the C3po or R2D2 PF or this item.
I obviously picked this piece.
As i mainly collect imperial SW items it would complement my current collection and it would be near impossible for me to obtain this in Au once old out.
So thank you guys for pushing me over the edge to buy.

PS haven't told the misses yet, i figured hell lets all be surprised together and deal with the fall out.

I thought this is one occasion where forgiveness is easier to obtain then permission . lol

Guaranteed wise move - with only 653 of these things made they will be a fark load harder to find in the future than the 3PO/R2.

If you only get 1 expensive SW item per year, I'll put my left nut on it, that you'll be easily able to grab the droid PF's next year without a worry.

Congrats on getting the eFX TIE! Great choice! The Droids PF are cool, but nowhere near as cool as this very limited edition replica. You might be able to get the (already a bit overpriced) Droids PF later, but not sure if you could get this TIE in the future for a good price, especially since the low edition number makes it pretty rare. I'm not interested in edition numbers, but when an item like this has a low edition, is good to get it asap, to avoid future hassle and over-spending

The TIE itself is a VERY impressive piece, it is in my top 5 collectibles. I only wish eFX to give up on the aluminum supporting poles which are too shiny and go instead for black or in starships cases to go maybe for acrylic pole.

I caved too and bought a eFX TIE, from AP Collectibles. Should be here in a week or so. Now my Red Five X-Wing will have something to shoot at. This TIE will look nice alongside the eFX Y-Wing once it gets made.

You aren't kidding. Seems like they only update it if they happen to remember. IMO the site is how the public views the company. Not a very good impression....

The TIE's sold out on eFX site for some time already. They appear from time to time on some online shops or on ebay.
