Whoa. Relax there sparky. As good as TWD is, it's no breaking bad or madmen. GoT has gotten better over three seasons. Can't say the same about TWD. I'm really hoping season four lives up to the beginning of season 3 because the end of S3 sucked ballsacks

Finished season 3 of TWD last night and I thought it was great what specifically did you find disappointing about it Wake?

The lack of a bonafide climax. The book deals with the confrontation head on and there are serious consequences. TV spoiler for s3...

Spoiler:

Here it just feels like the governor attacks. Some fireworks get set off and all the govs people make a run for it. Then the gov pulls a comrade commissar move and shoots all his people. Wtf? There's no real fight. Which is a slap to the face of an audience that had spent the better part of an entire season anticipating a big battle. Where was the Rick vs governor showdown that we were all implicitly promised?! It was a weak ending. It feels like the producers want to just drag it out an couldn't think of a better way to resolve the season after they scratch the actual battle from their plans.

I see yout point but I enjoyed how it defied expectations of what everyone thought was going to happen..not sure how it will play out next season though

My thoughts exacually wake. But Rdeezy may have the advantage if he watched them in big chunks.
I thought season 2 was very boring and dragged out but when I watched it as a whole it was not so bad.

My brother said the same thing as he watched it when it originally aired, I just finished all 3 seasons in about 2 weeks.

Gotta agree with Wake and Pete. Walking Dead has some nice moments but the writing overall is pretty weak and it's just not in the same class as Breaking Bad or GoT, IMO. I enjoyed season 1, second half of season 2 and bits and pieces of season 3. Finale with the Guv was pretty pointless, as Wake mentions.

TWD is definitely not in the same leauge as MM or Breaking but I do enjoy it. Its neck and neck with GoT for me at the moment.

What kind of style are they going for? God does that Merle look awful. Its kind of cartoony looking.
