He's still got a few months to go and maybe longer if he's delayed, which has been happening quite a bit. They toned down the orange overspray on the Sauron PF so hopefully they do the same with Vader.

I PO'd him when he first went up, but have been on the fence about him lately. Was really hoping to see him in person at SDCC to make up my mind, but he was a no show. Wonder why? I'd really like to see him so I can decide to keep him or not.

There were zero Mythos at SDCC. It was a bit sad, for me at least, because barring 1/6 which I can't afford now at the newer price points anyway, it seems like everything is getting way bigger and way more expensive. I, and many I spoke with at the show, are being priced out...
But at least Mythos was one whole banner wall!

IMO, Vader has the potential to turn out just as epic as Kenobi. The paint on Kenobi was really good and with all the switch-out parts that Vader comes with, and his emotive pose, it will compliment Kenobi very nicely, provided the paint matches the level of Kenobi (I can't comment on Maul or the Gammy, but those two look equally good in pics I've seen).
I agree they constant hikes in price are bothersome. I have a few key pieces I'm trusting they will produce along with a few others that I'm actively hunting for. After I acquire these several pieces, I will be stepping away from this hobby entirely.

I think this will complement Obi Wan perfectly.. I have been tempted to get Obi wan because of this.

It's a perfect representation of where their lives have gone after their classic confrontation.
Anakin/Vader with the knowledge of where his choices have led him.
and Obi Wan who is living a hard life in secrecy and solitude because of those choices.
I may have to get Obi Wan!!
Anyone have any photos of him in a Besta? His damn robe is so long I don't think I could fit both he and Vader on the same shelf.

Obi is magnificent. You will not regret buying it, but you will regret it if you do not. I have had him a month now, and I can easily say that he is my favorite statue. Like Vader, there is a lot of story to this statue.

i was disappointed not seeing anything at SDCC Mythos related... there was mention of it during the panel, but when the slide came up to correspond with the speaker, it was of the already established line.

I've been avoiding the charging on Friday email from Sideshow for Maul. Sadly, I just cannot afford both this one and Boba. Hell, I can't even afford one right now, but will keep Boba.

I swear the dude who sculpted this vader should've sculpted the 1/6 figure...if it was, I'm very disappointed...but I seriously doubt it...
