Why wouldn't u watch a version with English audio? U prefer to read the captions ?

lol. Have you never watched an anime that was subbed vs dubbed? While there are American dubs I don't mind, I prefer the original audio with subtitles. It's not as bad as say.. what Saban does to Super Sentai, but a well translated subtitled anime can be a big difference from a dubbed one.

I grew up with the english voices so I prefer them, even if it is watered down; as long as the voice acting is OK im fine with it lacking swear words etc, they arent needed.

Plus, im just lazy, I cba reading when im watching TV lol

I feel the same way. I can't enjoy it if I'm always looking at the bottom of the screen. I also read kind of slow so I'm always having to backtrack.

well in the mean time my woody has been learning the kamehameha. he just needs to learn to position his arms right...

Heres an interesting topic to kill some time till we get some news on figs, ok so as we all know gohan was the strongest at the end of the cell games and he was only 11 yrs old...but in future trunks timeline gohan was in his mid 20's and he was still not stronger than the androids..and they were weaker. So my question is, do you think future Gohan shoulda been strong enough to beat the androids in the future or not considering all he ever did was train n fight the androids non stop

Hmmm.. Well, I think Future Gohan probably never unlocked his full potential. I think he wasn't able to become SSJ2 without Goku around to properly train and motivate him. Wasn't he only SSJ1 in the Future Trunks timeline? I think more than anything else, it happened this way in order to serve the story. In reality, you would think Goku or not Gohan would be able to become SSJ2, and probably even SSJ3 by the time he's however old he is in the Future Trunks timeline. Weren't the Android's also weaker in the Future timeline compared to the main timeline? So it's all pretty interesting to think about really. Good points man.

Not to mention Gohan was always surpassing his limits all the time on his own so he wouldnt really need his fathers help in being trained properly cuz for the most part he was already properly trained enough by piccolo anyway, and the fact that trunks came back in time to gove goku the medicine only to find out goku would be usless against the fight with the androids and wouldnt even be strong enoigh to kill complete cell but an 11yr old gohan would do the trick lol i think its a bit of a fail from a story telling POV lol

lol. Yeah, that one arm will do you in, only Frieza can pull that off after all. That was quite a handicap. Still, by the time he lost his arm he was pretty old. He should have been stronger and not lost his arm in the first place. Maybe the reason he failed so consistently was because he always had to babysit Trunks and prevent the Android's from tracking them down and kill both them and Bulma.

I think the other thing to consider is how Trunks coming back in time altered the time line. Plus Cell also altered the time line. It's like how the Android's were different in the main time line vs the Future. So maybe Future Gohan just wasn't capable of the power of regular Gohan.

Gohan may have had potential, but he was useless without other characters pulling that potential out of him. He was legit trained by Piccolo, then on Namek he was just handed a power up by Grand Elder Guru. He was later trained by Goku who helped him achieve Super Saiyan and eventually Super Saiyan 2, but with Goku out of the picture and no enemies to fight he slacked off and got significantly weaker. That is until he had yet another power up handed to him, this time by Old Kai. So yeah... I think it makes total sense that Future Gohan never surpassed Super Saiyan given how reliant he was on others to increase his power.

Yeah, it's all pretty sad with Gohan. I don't even want to think about what happened to him in GT. :(

I would love a S.H. Figuarts Future Gohan, but I doubt that'll happen. Bardock is another I would really like to see. I suppose when they finally release regular Goku I could pick up another and make a custom.

I grabbed Trunks off ebay tonight.. cost me more than I would have liked but not that bad. I don't even entertain the idea of SSJ Vegeta, but I figure we'll see him again in the future. If not another version.

I checked my regular Vegeta, his right left is a bit loose at the hip. SSJ Goku & Cell are perfect though. In fact, I would say Cell is dead on perfect. What a fantastic representation of the character. I think Goku & Vegeta are pretty nice as well. They're not quite a dead on as Cell, but they are very nicely done and certainly the best DBZ figures I've seen (much better than the 12" Medicom Goku imo).

What about future trunks left on his own, in his own time to fight majin buu eventually? haha, and how would different timelines even work in regard to otherworld?
