Uuuhhhh, yeah, I'm going to need an apology from all of those pricks who grilled me for pointing out the obvious and saying that the tail was not flexible. As I said its obviously made of hard plastic, with 2 points of articulation.

:clap:clap

Looking at images I've saved to my computer, Freeza looks like he's always had a white joint in the shoulder. Even Hasbro's recent Marvel Legends figures have had properly colored shoulder joints, it seems odd that a Bandai Japan figure wouldn't. Oh well, not a big deal at the end of the day for me.

Yea but am I remembering wrong? Aren't all the dbz sh figuarts on a ball joint socket? That the arm rotates with the ball joint not a swivel like frieza ...

Yeah, up until now I believe they've all had the same type of a ball joint at the shoulder. Frieza looks like he has a similar ball joint to the D-Arts Megaman figure, but it's hard to tell from the pictures. Still, it's a pretty big white piece of plastic that could have been purple.

It's not my favorite form anyway, I'm hoping for a second form figure (or at least King Cold one day). lol.

King cold/ frieza second form would be huge lol would be around nappas size'ish which i cannot wait to see a relase date for him.

I hadn't noticed till you all pointed it out.

Mine should be here in about a week so will see how bad it looks in person.

Yeah, they would be huge. They would make a good Figuarts ZERO releases, but Bandai could make them figures if they wanted. I look at Nappa and I look at Sigma (from Megaman X) and I wonder why one became a figure and one a statue. Maybe it really is down to complexity of design, or maybe the DBZ line just has the selling power here that no other Bandai Japan line does so it has more resources? I don't know anything about anything though, just musing! lol. :)

Nappa is one reason I'm really invested in this line, that's an incredible figure!

I'm not worried about it much personally, it's still a toy at the end of the day for me and I won't be focusing on that on spot. It's an oversight by Bandai, but not a deal breaker for me. Cool, I can't wait for him to start shipping over here in the US.

Yeah I think it will be fine, once he's posed I doubt you'll see it properly

I was surprised when I got the E-mail this morning.
I didn't realize he'd been released already.

I would recommend Nin-Nin though, they have been great for my orders so far

Tbh im really annoyed they turned signa into a figuarts zero when they coulda easily made it a articulated figure

I keep forgetting about the nin-nin site, may cancel my amazon frieza and go with them. Have you had any import tax issues with them?

I will apologise for thinking the tail was poseable, but no one believed me when I said he would have two tails. Can you blame us for thinking there was a poseable tail?

I dont really see the issue with the shoulder joint, its not as if it destroys the look of the figure, then again im not picky that way lol

I don't know the reasons or logistics behind it all, but it seems like he would be easier than Nappa given the way his armor sits. The only thing that really bums me about it is he only has one head sculpt, but it's not a big deal. I would have loved to be able to replicate the scene in X4 where Sigma is still a Maverick Hunter and Zero cuts off his arm. No extra face for that though. :(

ugh man, I'm so pumped for Frieza, I can't take the wait!

They've really upped the quality with these past few releases...Trunks having all of the interchangeable parts, Cell with the first effect accessory, Vegeta with the effects, first stand, and the start of some really scene specific accessories (crushed scouter). Now Frieza has two effects parts, a base, and some neat scene specific parts, like the tail for Vegeta. I remember thinking the "distressed" head he came with was kinda odd, but now it makes perfect sense now that we've seen what frieza comes with.

I can't wait to get Krillin as well, and I'm eager to see their offerings at SDCC. I hope that Nappa or normal Goku are next up, but I also hope we see at least a few more that we've never seen before (C'mon Androids 19, 20, and 16 with interchangeable battle damaged head and armor!)

I wonder if they'll do a repaint of Vegeta with his black outfit and saiyan armor from Frieza Saga. That would be perfect for the scene with Frieza's tail around his neck.

I thought it was dark navy blue not black .... :/

Jeeze I just can't win! lol. It always looked black in the cartoon to me. Black outfits generally throw me because of the use of blue as highlights. Googling it now, it does like like a dark navy blue, but in some scenes it looks black. Gosh, I'm not sure now how many years it's been since I sat down and watched the show. Anyway, it doesn't matter what color it is as long as they make it.

Especially if kid buu is next after krillin

I don't know how Bandai and Bluefin see it, but why make that face for Vegeta and the tail around the neck piece for Frieza but not make the right Vegeta body? So I hope it's at least under consideration by them.

Kid Buu would be awesome. I would prefer other villains but seeing as he's the last "major" villain of the series I suspect he's got to be coming soon.

Speaking of Krillin, I wish they had given him one more head. One with a neutral, relaxed, wide eye expression. I think they covered pretty much everything but that one. I guess we got that great smiling face instead (which is my favorite of the bunch anyway).

Not yet but then my last order was for Goku & he was only about £23 delivered.

If you can wait then I'll let you know the score once Frieza is here.
But the only problem with that is he might sell out before my one arrives :(
