Hey Gagaliya...where did you get the wire holder you used for your led wires? I haven't been able to find one that thin.

they are from ikea, you can paint over it to hide it better but i didnt bother.

I went to Ikea today. The new Pax sliding door frames are in! $275 for the black, white..and $260 for aluminum. They weren't on display yet. I'll be buying mine after my vacation, probably at the end of the month. I'm going to get a local quote before buying the acrylic panels online.

I am so excited to finish my cabinets!

I was told there is a 2-3 week lag between the showrooms and the website. They should be on the website mid June at the latest.

Glad I checked out this thread. Needed an alternative to all my Detolfs. Would a Hot Toys Tumbler fit in one of those shelves on the PAX and would they hold up the weight?

If it's only a matter of months, I would say definitely wait to build your Pax. As with all Ikea furniture, they are fairly simple to build, but the finish is easily chipped/scratched. I dread the day I have to disassemble mine for a move.

Yes, that's one of the benefits of these is that are easy to dissemble as I've had to a few times. But like other said they do chip and mark easily so you'll want to be very careful. Even just pulling these out of the box for the first time, you'll see minor imperfections.

Excuse me if this has been answered, but I searched the thread and didn't see it: have the tall, skinny 70+" Tombo doors been completely discontinued?

I went to my local Ikea today to look for the sliding door frames by themselves, not only do they not have them, they took out and discontinued about 5 other sliding doors it looks like. Only ones available now are Auli and Sekken doors. That makes me sick to my stomach...
