You can also tell somebody how to build a house doesn't mean they'll be able to do it.

Oh and I'll tell them how to rob a bank doesn't mean you'll be successful

is there was a few more steps in there that I left out on purpose do you think I'm stupid?

Naa naaa. Very key steps too. What kind of paint, dye, other steps before you dye them

I know, is a pain in the arse to dye the DID pants, the FCS are easy to dye but there's no chance in hell of getting a pair, unless you pay trough the nose for them . I'm working on a totally whacked idea for Bane I'll post some picks latter on this week as soon as I get the trialmaster jacket, I payed 42.00 with shipping but is worth it for what I have in mind, I think is going to look cool.

I appreciate the effort Mr Ecko to make those pants and share it with the community. But 85+shipping for some pants seems very steep. I mean, that's almost half the price of a figure, you know? :(

This guy is so life-like!

Such a simple shot, but it looks so great in this photo!

While I do find the pricing to be steep (especially for pants), given how it IS a mass-produced custom service, it's obviously done for the sake of maximizing "dem profits".

Nevermind. I'll figure it out myself.

Honestly just check the Bane custom thread, some folks have tried their hand at it giving tips to each other, and I'm sure you can figure it out for yourself from lurking around in that thread: https://sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=124963

Also if I recall correctly, snooks initially sold to some of the members here some decent enough custom dyed pants around $45-$50 with shipping price already included (doesn't include accurate knee pads, but still a good base to start with if you're not keen to dye them yourself). Not sure if snooks is still offering them though...

I think those did pants are too baggy. Something in between the stock pants and the did pants would probably be ideal. The stock pants are good enough for me though.

Well for the record, I'm not really bagging out Ecko here, as even I recognize customs are inherently expensive by virtue of the "product" being handled by limited people (one in this case). Hence my mention of the need to maximize "dem profits" (though I still wouldn't throw $85 for non-scratch-built pants).

Personally I'm currently content with the stock pants myself, though I might change them later on if I find the time to work on mine again. Also I'd say the DID pants are just right in terms of being baggy, it's just that not many people futz them properly which makes them look TOO baggy. In the case of Bane, I notice that a lot people forget that the excess bulk at the end of the pants should fold over the first strap of the boots, which in turn makes it look a bit too pushed up from the legs, giving a really odd appearance from the front.

I don"t like the DID pants, but that's the only brand available at a decent price, so I'm torn between buying them or getting another kind that fits perfectly but are not as screen accurate. the stock pants from hot toys are just too tight. I bought a kaustik body for Bane and now I can't use it because the pants won't fit, friggin hot toys!!

Haha fair enough! Personally my only real issue with the DID pants is the fact that the zipper in the thigh area looks a lot bigger than the simulated ones on the stock pants (which at times, gives it that undesirable "doll" appearance).

I just check stock on the DID pants and there's only a few left, so I think I'll just bite the bullet and get them, maybe I can fix them somehow. don't want to regret it latter.
