I traded for a Reeve Superman and it arrived today. Amazing figure but I'm actually thinking about trading it. It'd been so long since I owned the Routh Supes I forgot how easily that material can snag. I don't even want to pick it up!

Just trim your nails before you play with it and you will be fine...
Or stick it on the base on a shelf and look at it! The costume won't snag that way, lol.

Could never give up this figure. It is way too cool and means too much to me.

Nah, I play guitar so all my fingers are calloused. Its not not nails that are thr issue.

I do have him standing all cool like on top of a cabinet right now tho. He is an amazing fig, for sure.

I just can't stop looking at him. Any of them for that matter, my biggest fear when I bought the DX09 Batman was that I'd get bored of it, but I still look at it in detail everyday, and it never fails to amaze me. Certainly got me hooked on hot toys.

Not sure if you're joking or not but I actually thought of that myself tonight. Don't those have a powdery substance on them tho? May be running to Walgreens in a few to find out!!

I can't get the ice shards to snap into the flying stand. How hard do you have to press on them? I'm worried about damaging the base.

I can't get the ice shards to snap into the flying stand. How hard do you have to press on them? I'm worried about damaging the base.

You have two choices depending on what you have handy in the house.
Either a hair dryer or hot water.
If you have a hair dryer, heat the base up for close to five minutes until it's soft and pliable. Once it is, put the piece int(It will be easy now the base is soft).
If you don't have access to a hair dryer, fill the sink with roasting hot water and set the base in there for a few minutes to accomplish the same task.
The only difference between the two is that you'll have to drain the water before seating the crystals if you use water.
Once they are in and secure, i find the best way is to sit the thing on a shelf in the fridge for half an hour. It will set solid again.

I had the same problem with mine. I just sat them in so they were in place rather than forcing them in and risk breaking them.

Yeah, I tried just resting them there but they aren't secure at all plus the dont line up correctly. Think ill try the hair dryer, thanks!!
