my collector box was ripped on the top and bottom of the spine. i didn't even bother asking for a replacement because the standard reply is 'we don't have any but you can send it back for a refund'. if i wanted a refund, i wouldn't have asked for a replacement box only. even if they do have a replacement figure, it could arrive worse than what you have.

FYI, i often get dented and ripped boxes, both collector and brown shipper when i order from sideshow direct. that's why i only order exclusives from them anymore. i do the rest of my ordering from BBTS. when i choose 'collector grade', they pack out for a mere $2 extra and everything arrives pristine like it was right out of the factory carton.

That sucks dude. Yeah they offered a partial refund, like they normally do. I thought if I got in early they'd have some replacement boxes.

Can't order from BBTS as the shipping to Australia is ridiculous (something like $77 per figure). Sideshow is really cheap in comparison (Bane was like $25 from memory, and DX12 was $29 I think).

Hot toys should hire you man.
Your pics are always impressive.
Love the pose and futzing there too. :clap

ahh so it's crayon then?
no it doesn't ...;)
I think he's referring to that close up pic showing those little dots on the sculpt. I don't know what the technique they used to paint this thing but the look of it reminds you of some sort of screen print. Not saying that's what it is.

What are you using for the floor? Looks great!

I did a google search for "cement floor". I used the second image that popped up (looked really close to what you see in the movie IMO). Then I printed it out on four sheets of sticker paper that I got at Home Depot, stuck it to a sheet of cardboard, and cut the cardboard to fit the dimensions of the dio. :yess:

Found the image, i think i may be able to handle that. Thanks for the info and directions!:duff

FYI--DX 11 is now sold out at SSC.

Looks like I'll go the local route on this guy like I had to for the DX12 Bats.

You all know SS offers a pack out option right? I know it's extra (and on top of the shipping) but its offered nonetheless.
This hobby is expensive to begin with, I take no chances.

But it's silly that we even have to ask for it, and crazy to have to pay for it.

Other retailers automatically do this. And these other retailers are already at a discounted price.

I say this over and over, but there really is no reason to order from Sideshow unless it's an EX or have some sort of promo code promotion.

Reward points, free shipping, customer service? Other retailers are already at a cheaper price that reward points and shipping don't matter in the end. They also all have top-notch customer service.
