Does anyone know how to properly clone out the white space? Is it possible to keep the clone stamp in a fixed position, rather than relative to your movements? If anyone wants to fill in this white space, it might be interesting to see the difference.

I'll work on this when I get home from work if someone else hasn't really tackled it by the time I get back. I hadn't even thought to illustrate my point, thanks for the inspiration Justin.

I can allready tell your neck placement is too high again Justin. :lol;)

Jokes asid, I concur with this. The head doesn't need to be elevated, it's perfect where it is now, the problem is the shoulders and collar of the shirt look like there's a healthy ammount of empty room between them and the body underneath and the shirt just needs to be pulled down onto the body tighter, I'll photoshop what I'm getting at later, but the head to body ratio is fine, it's how it's dressed that's a little off.

While I openly admit I have a fetish for long necks...;)...I raised his head after comparing screen caps from the film and where his chin was relative to the collar.

Not a good screen cap to base it on. He is looking around a corner, so of course his neck is going to be stretched out a bit around the corner.

Justin, you're on the right track of the chin-collar relationship, but like I said, the clothes need to come down on the figure body, they're high up on it in the SSC photo, if you bring it down, the chin-collar relationship will be closer, yet the head to base body ratio will also stay as it should, where you moved his head is right for the collar but in relation to the body looks a little inhuman.

Man, I wish this figure would get here already so we don't have to hear another 6 months of collar complaints :lol

Well since the preorder date has come and gone for this guy I guess it's safe to post this... When this figure was first in development I had the original honors of sculpting the portrait. My portrait underwent a barrage of revisions at Lucasfilm's request, and ultimately was scrapped I believe. I *think* the portrait was attempted by no less than 3 separate people, I'm not sure who's work graces the final figure seen above. I think the head they used looks fantastic, much better than the one I did... I think mine is actually more of a caricature, and the hairstyle is too wind-swept and not enough "combed by my mom for my school portrait" style that Luke adorned during that part of the film.

Anyway, enough borng commentary... Here's some shots of the Bespin Luke that never was (fortunate for us)...

No AB. I actually like yours quite a bit. I like the official SS sculpt as well. Both sculpts emphasize different things (what, I can't say :dunno) which the other is missing.

An excellent effort. :clap
