so I finally got this figure from Hastings and I must say I am very disappointed. The shipping box came damaged, which kind of messed up the box the figure came in. The figure box itself was opened and unsealed. The figure stand had a hastings sticker on it, meaning it was taken out of the box, and the pieces were scattered every where. I know I got a good deal since it was cheap, but I still want the product to be brand new and untouched.

That's the risk you take with gohastings. What did you pay? Around $96? I've only gotten one figure from hastings that had been opened. I was a little bummed because it was opened and because I thought it was missing an ammo magazine. Luckily I found it stuck behind the rifle.

Surprised this has risen more in value, it's pretty unique pred overall with the green.
it was really easy to get for a while. i got mine clearanced out for like $120 shipped. it's still probably the cheapest Predator figure to get. i think it really only has appeal for completeists and stragglers who missed out and needed a pred they could afford. that said, it's my 2nd favorite pred figure after P1.

I think the hype from the new movie aswell as the announcement of HT's Berserker and Falconer may have given him a little boost in sales aswell. Great, unique looking Pred though.

Just sorted my Lost Predator's dreads out, as you all know they usually spring out everywhere and don't look quite natural. Even though I bought this figure years ago it's been looking pretty badass on the shelf recently, been catching my eye for some reason. Though I'd share some pics =]

did you use wire inserts yoshi

Nah man, I just let it soak in hot water for about 10 minutes with a rubber band tied around the dreads, then finished off with some boiling water. Left it for 5 minutes to dry with the band on and it turned out how it did =]

Yeah agreed, I was actually looking on Ebay for some and there's quite a few for sale...at like $30-$40 a piece, Is that not a bit much for a neck wrap?

I bought a view times in eBay,
The price around $15-$25 depend on which predator,

Here's mine using P2 BD neck wrap..
Sorry the dread is not fix yet :impatient:

That looks sweet, improves the neck by a lot. I actually ended up buying one yesterday. This is what I bought, think it's the new City Hunter version.

The hot water trick is great and I've used it on pretty much all of my HT Preds. Here's a tip. To avoid leaving indentations in the dreads, instead of using rubber bands, use a piece of long and thin cloth instead. And the head really only needs to be dunked for about a minute in really hot water, then just dunk or soak it in cold water after it is removed to keep the dreads in place.
