Interesting choice though, because the camera angle makes Vader look short and stalky compared to Luke hehe, apparently George Costanza performed some stunt work for Prowse :)

the only lightsaber fight david prowse did was in episode 4. episode 5 and 6 had a stuntman named bob anderson do the saber fighting. that's why he looks shorter, because he is.

I see alot of debate about the likeness and a few prefer the ROTJ sideshow sculpt, i have to agree also with the veiws on the puffy costume, the inaccurate collar, also on each sleeve there should be three seams looping his elbow area....anyway,heres Darth Neils,i used the Jedi sideshow sculpt and altered the hair a bit,Im not saying its better than the new sideshow sculpt at all, just a point of reference,

Nice work Hurricane, but I think it really illustrates how on film, Hammil's look was quite different from Empire to Jedi. I've always felt the Jedi Luke sculpt perfectly captured Hammil as well as the look of Luke for that film, but something about that look being used for Empire look just doesn't seem to fit, your work looks great, just doesn't feel right to have that face with Empire.

You did a great job getting rid of the surprise look, Hurricane. Is that the Hasbro outfit?

yep hasbro, retailored, pockets moved, collar resized, added seams, recolored n dirtied up, maybe if some of our resident facial experts got hold of the new sideshow noggin it may look better...time will tell

Excellent work Hurricane.

We can see now that the collar does make a big difference in the overall look of the figure.

Sideshow are you listening???????
Please fix the collar.:D

FYI I contacted SS customer service and let them know about the collar and pocket mistake. I got an email back saying they would pass it along to the production team. May not hurt if several of us concerned with this issue shoot them emails. There is strength in numbers.

That is a great pic Irish! I really like his sculpted hair. It flows very naturally, just like on film.

Very nice pic. Better detail shown than most of the pictures we have already seen. Good Job!!:D

This definitely has to be another Mat Falls sculpt, the way the hair layers blend into each other looks exactly the same style as on the Jedi Luke figure.

I'm sure other sculptors can and perhaps will do good takes on Luke down the road, but at the same time, it's also nice to have the body of Luke figures from Sideshow come from the same sculptor because it makes them all fit together and creates a body of works instead of a bunch of individuals that don't all fit together.
