commend you for doing this Rory. as I said earlier, I'm still too chicken to do so. However, I don't fully agree that it can't been done from the outside. it's just tougher to do especially for the inexperienced (i felt like saying "the uninitiated")

Yeah, if I do it I'm pretty sure I would do it om the outside. And I would build up both lids, but mostly the bottom. I'm okay with covering all of the stock eyelid paint. I think it looks weird to have one lid be all black right up to the eye and the other being red.

Do you agree about using a black epoxy putty? The more input the better, as this Los a damn scary mod.

Rory nailed it, great job. Reminds me of Vodoun's work on the DX 02 head.

This looks way better than the goofy, wide eyed freak that is the DX 12.

No doubt it looks better than the stock version.

Well, I did admit that was going a little too far. That pic just exemplified what I was talking about too perfectly.


I think I just have sand in my ****** because I ****ed up my open mouth DX02 face.


I need to make the DX02 neutral mouth perfect to redeem myself.

Rorywan's mod is amazing for sure, but I don't think it comes off very well unless you're zoomed right in on it. From a distance it doesn't look quite right imo.

Great imprevement there Rory, you have done a really good job, I know by own experience how hard it is to work on the eyes of a 1/6 figure, the space is so freaking little, that makes really hard to get thing well done.

It looks sleepy, but it looks so much better than stock figure. Just not perfect, but a lot better.

Congratulations!

IMO batman should be sleepy. Guys beating up thugs every night.

I'm a lazy doof. Which cape is that in the photo you referenced? Standard? One of lforigno's customs?

Rorywan's mod is amazing for sure, but I don't think it comes off very well unless you're zoomed right in on it. From a distance it doesn't look quite right imo.

I'm also interested to know the cape is the stock or from lance?
I have bought lance ape just wondering the shining part of the cloth should be facing out?

There is no shinny side on lance's capes. The rayon is a single piece of fabric, with both sides the same. The velvet is different on the inside, but not shinny.

The one I got both side is different.. I suppose is the velvet .

The blacker the better.

However, the velvet does have a sheen to it, which is part of the reason why I prefer the rayon capes.
