Likeness is good, pose is not. Hobbit statues are either posed just standing there or posed fearing for their lives. Might be time to try something new.

I love this. And I've gotta say I'm quite blown away with everything I've seen from Weta over the last few days!

Love it. Why the moaning about the pose? Why is it pointless? Do you really need something to display him with to understand the statue?

As it happens i'm sure there'll be plenty of things you could pair him up with. I first thought of the Mirkwood spiders so maybe Weta will do one of them, or a goblin, Warg....

IMHO the pose is perfect. Regardless of what creature/person/whatever Bilbo is facing, he's only just come out from behind his perfectly proper well-to-do Hobbit shell and has absolutely no idea what to do with something as foreign and lethal as a sword. It's probably the first time he's ever held one or even been in anything close to what amounts to a fight. Still, he's determined to make a go of it. Although not inherently heroic by nature, hobbits can certainly be stubborn enough to make up for it!

yeah....LOTS of stuffs popping up in increments. After having jumped on Bilbo, saw the others coming available. Decided to keep my account open and put things in my cart and once I think all the stuff has been revealed, will do a final order of all in my cart.
