DC's #1 Superhero vs Marvel's #1 Superhero

In a poll in the Marvel forum,

in which 142 people voted for their favorite Marvel superhero, Spider-man was number 1 with 41 votes. Wolverine and Iron man were a distant second with 23 and 22 votes respectively.

I know Batman is number 1 for DC. So want to see who wins out, Marvel's #1 superhero or DC's #1 superhero. I'm pretty sure Batman will win.

Funny, the Marvel Universe is much more popular than DC but the Dark Knight is the most popular superhero.

I kinda go back and forth between the two. These are two of the best, most compelling characters in comics. Spidey had the best comics in the '60s, but Batman has had better comics from the '80s on.

I'm actually a bigger fan of Supreme than Superman.

Though of course, Supreme is just Superman if he was written really well.
