Thanks! I just called my local TRU and the sale ends at the end of the month. They even held a set for me till Sunday. Plus since the BOGO sale the price was $29 each and now $25 each. Not bad all turtles for $75, it's like buy 3 get 1 free(BTGO)

So I found a great deal on the turtles at Fred Meyer. They are having a buy one get one 50% off plus they had an extra 10% off on toys and my wife works there and I got her employee discount which was an additional 15% off, all four were $20.50. So I decided to paint this set up and I did some work on the weapons. I still need to put the chains on Mikey's chucks.

Got Bored and started posing the figures. The Turtles have jumped into a different dimension, Again!!! Sorry for the orangey pic, just pretend it is sunset!!!

Its a shame they didnt give them knee and elbow articulation, but the fact that you can store weapons in the shell is a really great idea. They look cool in the case DK, congrats!!

Has anyone painted the extra accessories the Nick Turtles come with? I think I've only seen Leo's done so far.

Speaking of the accessories, I got bored one day a while back and tried to hunt down a list of reference names for some of the weapons. Most I knew, but there's a few I didn't. Anyway, I posted the list below for those interested. Keep in mind though, a few might not be spot on and may even have equivalent names. As for the shuriken, well who the hell knows what each variation is actually called, as I'm sure there's a specific name used for some of them that was lost in translation or never given at all.


Leonardo - two ninjato katana, samurai katana, hidden samurai katana throwing dagger, three kunai, two eight point shuriken

Donatello - bo staff, naginata, san setsu-kon nunchaku, two enkei shuriken

Michelangelo - two nunchaku, kusarigama, two traditional shuriken, two cross shuriken

Raphael - two traditional sai, two hu tou shuang gou, two jutte sai, two cross shuriken

I was gonna wait and take a chance to find them at Ross or TJ Maxx. But just got them since I had some credits and the BOGO sale.

I must give this thread a bump, Page 2 is no place for turtles. Anyway I took a pic with some DC figs, I am just having a blast with these new turtles.

I used a Marvel Select Hulk base and I fit the bros. on it, I really like how it turned out.
