Suddenly the Tumbler seems like a reasonable purchase!

And the Bat-Pod seems like a little trinket you'd find in a cereal box!

Oh, to have the budget and display space! So much awesome.

The light up chassis alone would make a Hot Toys Batman Forever Batmobile an impressive addition to this 1/6 Batman vehicle collection.

I wouldn't buy it but it sure would be cool.

From the old Tumbler thread, sorry can't remember who this is :slap (please message me if you would like the pic removed, hope you don't mind me using if for a reference)

Holy sheet, that brought it home how big this thing is gonna be!

Wow. This is borderline ridiculous. It'll be great to see in person but it'll be a pass for me, I have no clue where I'd display it.

Yeah, I'd like to have some representation of this vehicle in my collection, so I'm going to get a really detailed "The BAT" 1/25 (or similar sized) model kit. But I don't see any practical way to get it in at this scale.

I have that moebius 1/25 batpod and tumbler, they are pretty awesome.

I realy want this bat though, thinking of just ordering it, not opening it, dumping it in the attic and getting it out when i have my own place and can display it properly in a couple years

Where did you get the moebius Tumbler from? I didn't think it was released yet.

They're gorgeous! Jeeze, seeing that, I may wind up picking up a black Tumbler one day, just to complete the set...

Can any words even describe it. It's like stuff you'd get in museums. Frightening how big the 89 car is against the Tumbler. Let alone the Bat. I'm guessing it'll be about the height of an Apple 30 ACD.

The 89 isn't that big against the Tumbler...definitely longer, yes...but the Hot Toys' Backstage photo above is really misleading about their relative sizes because of perspective. The Bat-pod in the foreground (but still not exactly lined-up in the front with the 89 and 66) appears to have wheels that are almost twice as big as the Tumbler's front wheels...even though we know they are the same size.

The 89 wouldn't look that big relative to the Tumbler if they were lined up together at the same depth of field. The Tumbler is actually more than two inches wider.

Dud I wanted to get the Bat but I wont even be able to fit the box through my doorway and into my apt. I dont even thing I would be able to carry it with my friend up the stairs. This is definately for the collectors that have the space. Im sure these will be extremely limited to like 500 or so. Thats cool Ill just stick with the new tumbler black and camo and the batpod since I missed them on the first release.

This brings up an interesting question: how will it be shipped? My guess is that there will be one shipper(and possibly one outer art box), but multiple boxes inside with separate parts.

I wonder if there will be a back seat, a place for cat woman :lol
. Yup, you can see it in the picture (it's right above Batman and the cockpit).

Sideshow is auctioning off a Naboo Fighter in a couple days and I think the Bat would be roughly the same size and weight

NABOO FIGHTER
STAR WARS SIXTH SCALE REPLICA
PROMOTIONAL DISPLAY ITEM

This auction is for a unique, mixed media Naboo Fighter promotional display item. At sixth scale it’s stellarly huge; measuring in at approximately 5 ½ feet long, 3 ½ feet wide, 1 ½ feet high and weighing 38 lbs in the box. It can be displayed by hanging from the ceiling or used as floor display. (Although we recommend the latter!) This item comes with its own inner box and shipper box.

Special Note: Due to the size of this item, it can only be shipped on a pallet via freight. Estimated shipping to East Coast is approximately $300.
