Me neither.

Dammit, Khev, you're supposed to be the guy who comes back with an elaborately detailed explanation of how OOM-9 died. What's up with that?

What the hell do I know I thought he was the guy you said "you're under arrest" (before being sliced in two and then reincarnated in time for the big Gungan fight.) :lol

Contemplating this guy. Any other battle droids that were given as much screen time? I haven't watched the prequels recently enough to remember. I'm trying to figure out if they'll release another recognizable commander

No, OOM-9 is the only commander with more than one or two lines of dialogue. In fact, he's the only commander with dialogue in TPM that comes to my mind, other than the one destroyed during the failed negotiations on the Droid Control Ship and the one destroyed during the escape from Naboo scene. I think in AOTC, the only battle droid dialogue was "Uh-oh!" and "Roger, roger!" spoken in the Geonosis arena. A silent commander combats and is destroyed by Mace Windu. In ROTS, the battle droids and super battle droids had much more dialogue. I can't recall any commanders in that film besides one that hands Grievous the Jedi's lightsabers. Most of the droid dialogue was from security (red) battle droids and the two super battle droids that attacked R2-D2.

Didn't OOM-9 die at the hands of Qui-Gon Jinn?

"Halt."

"Where are you taking them?"

"Coruscant - uhh that does not compute, you're under arrest."

SLICE.

..if memory serves correctly.

I don't remember that being OOM-9. Because that was near the beginning/middle of the movie and OOM-9 led the battle of Naboo at the end.

No,no, no.... OOM-9 was in charge of the army for the final battle.

"Cease Fire".

Gawd, he's like the star of TPM.

That's what I said -The battle of Naboo at the end of the movie.

I know, I was posting when you posted.

Coheteboy clearly has not seen TPM. :) I mean, OOM-9 was trying desperately to kill Jar-Jar. How can he not be the 'hero' of the PT saga? He failed because of an annoying boy. Deep tragedy. This is a powerful storyline.

"Where are you taking them?"
"To Coruscant."
"Coruscant? Uh, that doesn't compute. Uh, wait, uh, you're under arrest!"
―The OOM command battle droid and Qui-Gon Jinn[src]

In 32 BBY, a Trade Federation OOM command battle droid with masculine programming guarded the Theed Hangar during the Trade Federation's occupation of the planet Naboo. The OOM command battle droid tried to arrest Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn but was destroyed by the Jedi.

The battle droid destroyed in the hangar was not OOM-9. That droid has not been identified beyond being a OOM command battle droid, as eti1978 previously stated. OOM-9 is in several scenes of TPM, mostly reporting to Nute Gunray and Rune Haako, and then finally the Battle of Grassy Plains.

"My troops are in position to begin searching the swamps for these rumored underwater villages. They will not stay hidden for long."

i think it easy to say-OOM were a number of designated Command Droids-OOM-1,2,3 etc...OOM-9 being the star of ALL OOMs cause he was hunting the Binks Master ;)
