These have been sitting in my closet for years and years as I don't collect them anymore and only did for a short while.. I've never used ebay before but any idea what they're worth?

Good luck selling if you can. Most Spawn figures are worth nothing unfortunately.

Last year, we watched the movie and animated series and my son wanted a few Spawn figures. Got a ____load of carded figures cheap, from the first series to who the hell knows what series. The market is flooded with them and way way way to many versions.

Good luck, just dont expect much.

The only two you'll really get anything for are the first two, the Dark Ages Spawn w/ horse and the Viking Age Skullsplitter. That particular one is from the R3 series, which had fewer produced than the regular Viking Age series. Skullsplitter is the most popular of the group and regularly nets between $75 - $100 on Ebay.

As far as Bloodaxe and Thunderhoof, though...sometimes it'll sell for around $40, others it won't. I'd throw the lot up on Ebay and see what you get for it. It's better than nothing at all.

These really are some good looking figures. I've always been a big Spawn fan but stopped reading the books in '95...

When I bought this originally I planned on taking the viking that's on the horse off the horse. I wanted to put skullsplitter on the horse.,Kinda like a dark knight and his steed. Black on black thought it would look awesome. Never did it though.

I was hoping the Spawn figures were still sought after but alas it appears not.

I have a few of the Alternate Reality & Classic Covers figures & they didn't even sell when I tried them on Ebay.

Sometimes it gets to the point when it's just worth keeping them even if you aren't ever going to display them.
I'd sooner put them in the loft then give them away for the pennies people seem to expect to want to pay.

McFarlane figures basically got me started in collecting. I have a LOT of em still displayed but because I've "upgraded" to 6th scale I thought about selling some to free up some shelf space. Alas, to my dismay, you'll be lucky to get even a fraction of the initial cost back.

Even the most expensive and sought after sports figures as variants which went for hundreds of dollars when McFarlane was still booming will be lucky to get 50 bucks. I've seen a handful of NFL figs on eBay that some are trying to sell for thousands (buy it now) but I severly doubt anyone will be crazy enough to pay that much!

I ve got the first Malebolgia mint carded somewhere.

This is the ONLY Spawn figure I still own. It's always been my favorite and I remember the excitement of finding it at Target for $7.99 and how hard he was for anyone to find. My comic shop was selling him for $100! -now he's not worth jacks**t but it's a great memory of a great time in collecting.

McFarlane kinda pulled the toy version of the comic book speculator boom. That said, I've acquired alot of nostalgic affection for them as of late. They were alot of fun to collect back then. Every once in a while I think about picking some up, but so much new stuff constantly coming out prevents me from doing so.

There worth less than you paid for them. Gauronteed. But they are releasing a new spawn which looks like all of the old spawns which will get three people excited.

I have all the old good ones, they will be just for me and that's ok, I'll always love them.

I can still sell a lot of really crappy dc characters and make the money back or whatever but spawn is just too niche unfortunately.

These figures have fallen in value tremendously. The 30th Anniversary Spawn might be the only one that's of any value. Most can be bought for under $30 or around $20. Most of these figures still hold up to these day and if you treat them more as mini statues rather than action figures they're all still pretty cool.

My brother had so many bad ass Spawn figures he collected that got damaged in a hurricane. Even though he was hurt by the loss he was relieved that they ended up not being worth much when we were looking up what they were going for afterwards.

I have a boatload of carded McFarlane toys I need to get rid of just to make room for all my 1/6 stuff now. Austin Powers, Movie Maniacs, tortured souls, etc. I have a feeling this stuff is also worth a fraction of what I paid for it new

I see Spawn and Wildcats at local collectible conventions for pretty cheap.

DC and Marvel came out way before my time so I remember being a kid and being so excited to get in on the ground floor (so to speak) of Spawn and all the other new Image comics. Unfortunately, those characters haven't stood the test of time like the traditional DC & Marvel superheroes.

As DCM81 mentioned, a lot of us have since graduated to the 1/6 or more premium lines but I have to respect McFarlane for upping the ante in the collectible market. McFarlane figures struck a balance between value and quality sculpts.

Before McFarlane came along, sports fans had to settle for those crappy Starting Lineup figures. McFarlane blew those out of the water with their NBA/MLB/NFL line. I've since moved onto the 1/6 Enterbay NBA figures but still pick up the occasional McFarlane sports figure.

I was wondering the same thing... I've been going through my old stuff and found this set.
