You guys just got wrecked by the Suns, wouldn't be talking...Yeah last year sucked, but nothing could be done about that. Spurs have a great chance to win it all this year. They are much better team then they were last year, much deeper, not sure how many Spurs games you watched this year but I watched pretty much all of them and this team is going to surprise a lot of people in the playoffs.

I don't expect a fan to change their way of thinking about their team. But we can talk when your team gets to double digit championships. Every year can't be your teams year, but we have had and will have more days in the sun than the Spurs.

Yeah sure if you're talking about ancient history. Modern day Lakers have won 5 titles, Spurs have 4. The lakers won titles in the 80's and before that but those teams have nothing to do with the modern team. If your desperate enough to grasp at straws that you're saying the Lakers are better a team if you consider the entire history of the NBA then sure I agree, but that's a pretty weak argument and almost a moot point because the Spurs sucked in the 80's . the celtics have next to know chance of winning anything this year but I guess i shouldn't say that because they won 40 titles in the 1960's.

That's why it's called history. Kinda like your previous 4 titles. That's part of your history modern or ancient as you call it. I don't see why you would discredit what the team has accomplished over the years. Either way the Spurs won't be winning anything in the near future. I'm sure your riding that #1 seed in the West like it really means something. Any way that you look at it we still have more titles in modern times and of course no contest in overall titles. But it'll be fun seeing you guys try and get that next one, and that's a HUGE "IF"!!!

Define near future because they're winning it all this year. I still don't see your point the entire history of the NBA. I don't have a problem with any of the 80's lakers teams or before that. I think it's really silly to say you have more titles overall, yeah so? The Spurs were a team that was never supposed to win four titles so i think that's a pretty cool thing where the lakers have been riddled with All stars for the last two decades.
