I Actually haven't gotten to it yet, I haven't had a lot of time to do personal projects unfortunately. I'm hoping to re visist it at some point but right now I've kind of shifted focus to the "89 batman stuff. Specifically, i'm thinking of coming up with a shelf/display combo for the batmobile since it seems a lot of people are having trouble figuring out a way to display it. I think something that had a display case on the top and a shelf for your comics or movies on the bottom would be pretty cool.

I was posting over in the official batmobile thread, but since I had a few people PM me about batmobile cases, I figured i'd post this here too in the official cases thread. I'm thinking of doing a shelving unit display base for the batmobile if enough people are interested. It seems that display space is an issue with this bad boy and I figured it would be nice to have something that you could also use to show off your movies or comics, since most of us display in our rooms that have that stuff anyway. this way, at least its not just taking up space and not serving any function. Heres a quick google sketchup of the concept.

It would have space to display the batmobile and have batman standing beside it. It would also have one of these mounted to the inside as a lable, but would obviously say whatever the end user would want.

Thoughts?

Just a thought, but you could shape the lower portion based on some of the shapes from the Fluegelheim Museum.

I/m sure I could, but the only problem would be production time and cost. If someone was willing to wait for it and was ok with how much it would end up being, Its totally a possibility.

that batmobile case would be awesome. You could possibly offer a Tumbler variant too, as I've seen loads of posts postulating on how to display that particular beast

I'd like to see maybe a slight bank on the Batmobile flooring unit from from to back so it's not just displayed from the straight profile angle but featuring the top of the cars to some degree.

I thought of that, but then it would be hard to display the figure next to it. I ended up making the shelf 40" tall and overall 53" so you can look down into the case.
