Really strange looking back now. I got this last Friday and had a big buyers remorse. I'm definite getting the batman returns version so I wanted to skip this. So was kinda ticked at myself for pulling the trigger instead of waiting. But now that I've had a chance to really look at it, Im starting to really appreciate the figure. It's not that I didn't think the figure was cool, I thought, next to sparrow, this is the next best stock figure. It certainly makes my dx and OC bats look like Medicom next to this figure. So I guess it's a keeper. :)

Oh, I've futz the cape more since I took the pic and I used a different method instead of the clip...I used a hair band. Lol.

I love how to people this is more than just a figure, it's a nostalgic piece of their childhood. As good as Bale's Batman is, it's just not Keaton. I've owned all the Bale Batman HT figures (sold them all) and none of them felt like Batman to me. The Keaton one is perfect - is Batman. This figure represents my childhood hero and I love it.

Hubba...Hubba..Hubba...Money....Money...Money..Who do you TRUST!!

Did you know after Tim Burton dropped out of no.3 they offered Michael Keaton $35million to stay on - the single biggest paycheque ever for an actor at that time - and he turned them down !

And Burton repaid him by never calling him again and casting Johnny Depp in every film he's made since.:monkey2

You're really over doing it with the pics/repostings of pics Guyver. Don't you feel obnoxious? I mean, as soon as someone mentions something or posts a pic of their own (like Karnis and his great shot) you immediately spam the thread with pics that are either new or reposted.

Stop it.

I'm watching right now the movie again...
Where the H... is Batman using these gadgets???

Hot Toys included gadgets that were fairly well documented and shown off in books about the movie from back in the day, I think it's a bit of a treat to fans and helps them pad the accessory count. Many weapons were designed for Batman but never saw screen time.

:nono I'm not doing it to impress you, don't like it, just ignore it. I do it to show how this is a great figure that deserves to be displayed besides the same standing cape draped over look shot after shot we keep seeing. There is a lot more to this collectible than that. :lecture

I watched the film (again) earlier and yeah I cant remember him using either. At no point do you see what the smoke bombs look like either. Amazingly he only uses the batarang once in the whole film as well :horror

Of all the gadgets he does use HT's haven't given us one of them, the weapon he uses to tie Joker's leg to the gargoyle in the final scene :lecture

Not that I care though :lol

If I remember correctly, the ninja wheels never made into the final cut...and I think the other device is the remote control for the Batmobile when it trashes AXIS Chemicals....but I could be...and probably am...wrong. :dunno
