After viewing the last 15 pages or so it would appear that some faceplates fit better than others around the top. I hope this is just user error and not another 'Batman problem'.

I want my Batman :monkey2

He's worth the wait, an amazing figure :lecture

Saw someone snap their Batman gauntlet spikes on Facebook.

Someone futz'd too hard

HT did include replacement "spikes" hey are packaged with the extra hand pegs.

I just can't believe how such a solid piece that HT's has developed in this figure. The base model alone is impressive and the facial expressions are like the icing on the cake.:yess:

89 Bats is an amazing figure, another feather in the cap for HT, especially for the fact that it looks like Keaton was shrunk down and put in a Detolf.

I feel like such a noob but is anyone else having trouble putting the head back on? I can't for the life of me get it to sit back on the body, it feels like i've come close to breaking it a few time trying to get it back on. Elation has turned to frustration!

Congrats Mags, Coco, and everyone else who got theirs on. Just such a great figure.

It's amazing how, as someone who's not a fan of anything BUT Keaton from the Burton films, this figure puts the Nolan figures to shame on style alone. It's my favorite Batman figure by far. Not saying HT's other Batman stuff is bad, they just look very plain next to this guy. Which is by design, I guess. He just really pops.

Well i'd argue that has more to do with HT really upping their game for their figure, rather than an inherent superiority of the 89 Suit design.

I think a BB or TDK suit figure of this quality would really pop too. But that's just my opinion

Oh no, I agree. I just think this design is more style over substance, which makes it pop over the Nolan stuff. The BB suit gives it a run for its money, but the ears and contrast between yellow and black are visually more interesting to me. Always been a fan of long ears on Batsy.

I couldn't wait for my UK supplier to get theirs in so I've ordered one from an eBay seller who has them in stock now. Had to pay £50 more than the UK seller but I'd rather pay the extra than than wait potentially till the end of April and beyond for him to arrive.

Hopefully the eBay seller wont let me down and I'll have him in the next 7 days  :yess:

Got mine off ebay too as I'm in the UK - tracking number says it should be here on Thursday. I normally use HKapestore or studio sunny(who has vanished) but this time I tried 7toys7. Took him a week to even post the thing but he was £20 cheaper than everyone else.

Seriously impressive piece of work

Yeah, I know it's your figure but you got to fix that cape... in the film the cape is attached to the cowl so the opening is always going to be close to the emblem, never underneath and pushed to the back of the cowl... sorry, but man your pics are making me nuts. :gah:
