I don't understand the mentality of buying figures and leaving them in the box, ESPECIALLY these days when QC means you could have bought a broken figure or one with defects galore and never known until you opened it.

Its called OCD. And BRJ had no QC issues from what I know. Its only armoured/rubber figures that generally have QC issues anyway

Spidey is included in my theory and Caps and Supes had no breakage. A crooked emblem is hardly a QC issue. It still demands a refund but I dont think HT is too worried over crooked emblems

QC isn't always breakage, it's includes anything wrong on the figure that should be right. For the price, those emblems should be perfectly straight, with Cap it wasn't just a few the whole second batch of SSC's were crooked, it's not as big as the oil problem but it definitely is classed as a failure of the Quality Control Dept. And i agree HT isn't worried, but for every figure they produce with production errors, that's another dismayed customer getting a replacement, it then costs them more money to make those replacements, but luckily there aren't many QC problems but there are more than before.

I agree with you there. HT are just plain lazy not correcting simple mistakes such as the emblems.
I say if your so obsessive that you need to keep the figure in its box you should always thoroughly check armoured/rubber or one piece clothing figures. But I think for the rest its a case of opening up the window flap and making sure nothings upside down or plain missing.

However it wont be long before simple HT projects turn into QC disasters thanks to them trying to save a few bucks on the production line

I haven't opened my BRJ yet either.. :monkey1

I've checked it out through the window, all looks ok. Same with my T-1 Arnold. I hope he's cool - I've had him for at least 6 months! :slap :lol

:goodpost:

I'd say it's always best to check, make sure there's nothing obviously wrong.

HT have plenty of money to spare, they're just tight with it :lol

even after Joker v. 2 issue (that still hasn't been announced yet)
i still want this dude so much >.<

I had the opportunity at one stage, to buy the HT V1 Joker for next to nothing - NEW. I kind of regret that now, I could've had the BRJ & the purple outfit Joker - both with great head sculpts.. :slap

Been seeing a lot of BR Joker's popping up for sale recently, really tempted but got a nagging feeling that the DX Joker 2.0 will include BR gear :gah:
