Who made that 1/6th GL? Looks nice!

That's the 12 inch talking deluxe movie master Green Lantern from Mattel. Originally offered at 60 a figure. I couldn't find it on ebay but found it on amazon for 74.00 shipped. Not a bad looking figure, almost exactly to scale. The only thing is the head is smaller than a regular HT. I will replace it with Headplay's Reynolds sculpt.

Heres some pics and a little music video I made showing off my custom case and stand. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Smash them with a hammer and take pics as proof.
SSC's replacement Supes:

Parts can be reused especially (your fully fine body).. knee/elbow joints

I believe I can rebuild your rubbish parts... even those that gone through hammering

Would you be so kind as to post a side by side pic next to superman? If like to pick that figure up and would like to see a size comparison shot next to supes.

I found these online with a lot of research. Looks pretty good. Not sure about the articulation yet or if it's removable from the base but it could act as a decent stand in until HT gets off their butt and gives us an amazing one. It says 12 inches but you know how that goes.

There are actually several different ones that are very similar sculpts. The 6 inch movie masterpiece, the 12" movie masterpiece, and the 14" figure that are all very close. Not sure how they'd look next to HT but might be willing to give it a shot.

Does anyone have a slight shiny spot on his forehead? It shows up when I turn on the lights above my detolf.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Damn these sweaty foreheads!

Annoying because I don't seem to see a single spot in anyone's photos. Looks like everyone's is fine, was driving me nuts.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

I think all of them have it to be honest. I have two and they both have them. A replacement had it, one that I saw at a local comic shop had it. I'd say NOT having the spot on the head is more uncommon.

Also, when you take a picture of it, especially with a flash, the spot doesn't tend to show up. It's definitely noticeable in person, but not so much in pictures.

I've also noticed the more you handle it, even if you're extremely careful, the "worse" it gets. I barely even posed my cape and the wire popped out.

Yeah, I just opened mine recently, & wanted to get the cape looking right firstly. I'm not sure if it happened while I was fiddling around with it, or whether it was already like that.. but I noticed that the wire is poking out of the fabric at the collar on his left side & at the bottom right corner of the cape.

The sleeve cuffs seem a little delicate too, although I might've been a tad heavy handed trying to get the sleeves to cover both wrists properly, & in the process I've slightly torn the left sleeve cuff, & the inner lining is permanently sticking out on the other side.. :slap

Out of interest, is the rubber logo stretched? surely the fabric can't stretch it as wide as that since it's stuck on?

That happened to Oscorp. Shame they never put on little plugs at the end of the wire so it couldn't poke through. But again, costs more money.

Here's a side by side shot. As you can see the head is way smaller but the body seems to fit fine. Once Headplay comes out with their version I will plug it in to this body and should look much better.

Articulation on the shoulders, left elbow, wrists, crotch, knees and ankles.

If you get it at a decent price, it's good enough until HT comes out with theirs.
