Re: The Dark Knight: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible (relaunch)

£303 +shipping is around £60(without shipping)=92$

When paying VAT to Fedex they count shipping in the total. So VAT on the total will push it over $100 then add the £10 quid fedex fee

That ok for you?

That's always bugged me. :lecture

Don't get me started on shipping :D

From N.Ireland and most UK dealers charge extra to ship here. Works out cheaper for me to buy from China or sideshow than Uk mainland. (£25)

Can get my parcels from sideshow for $25 bucks or $50 via ems from china....

Think I might have to go with sideshow on this if it is indeed $25 shipping.

Re: The Dark Knight: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible (relaunch)

Oh you getting the 1989 as well? nice one. :hi5:

Hopefully, it will depend on price. If it's around the same price as the Tumbler than I cant see me being able to say no.

Not having the space should really be the deciding factor on both of these purchases but alas it's not :slap

I'd be very surprised if it was more. :)

Buy first find space later is also my thinking. :lol

Re: The Dark Knight: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible (relaunch)

Tumbler $470 + $25 = $495 = £320 UK

Vat @ 20% of £320 is £64 + £10 fedex fee = $114

I didn't add the fedex fee when i said $100 tax, hope that helps.

The REAL formula is:

Value of the Good + Shipping costs + custom duties + Fedex Fees,
on top of which you have to put VAT :lecture

Trust me i buy enough from Sideshow to know that what i typed will be my final bill from Fedex. :lecture

Re: The Dark Knight: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible (relaunch)

If i'm not mistaken I believe my Tumbler ships with a 1/6 intothevoid. :yess:

:yess:

Ok Batwing...but what Batwing?
Do we have a pic from the movie?

The TDKR flying vehicle is called 'The Bat'.. but maybe HT is confusing themselves again.

You sound a bit fed up.

I figured there was no need for a DX02 remake as the TDKR suit looks identical
so they can just release that, but then again there are those who will buy the original DX02, the new DX02 and all the new TDKR figures so they can be part of the 'it' crowd.

The only ones i'd potentially be interested in is the TDKR batman or the remake, doesn't matter which and Bane

Well, there is MASSIVE room for improvement in the DX02, hence a remake is expected. Heck medicom did a better TDK Batman than HT

Re: The Dark Knight: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible (relaunch)

Having had regrets over missing the first release, this is certainly tempting. CA tax on this thing is going to be a killer though. :(

Re: The Dark Knight: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible (relaunch)

PO done for this beast! :yess: So glad to have a 2nd chance to own this one. Now where's my Bat-Pod either from TDK or TDKR? :impatient:

Re: The Dark Knight: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible (relaunch)

Any Aussie collectors get this first time around. I'm a little worried about shipping. BBTS want to charge $250 any ideas how much SS will be to Australia?

try popcultcha,, they usually have free shipping for local shipping at leas t they did for stuff like optimus prime

Re: The Dark Knight: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible (relaunch)

I really want to pre order this but I also want iron monger. Wonder what the shipping cost for this is?

Would any of you care to give opinion on which to get? Would you guys that have it recommend, is it worth the price? Also is it as fragile as I've heard or that detail is exaggerated? Any info would be appreciated.

I'd get the Tumbler over the Iron Monger every day of the week, that's just me though :)

Not really. I like some re-releases, and in fact, am happy to off-load my older, then inferior toys when they come out (P1 Predator, Jack Sparrow, already sold DX-01 in anticipation of DX-01 v.2). I'm just being like Vern. . .

:exactly::lecture:exactly:

Tumbler > IM

IM looks cool, but weak villain IMHO.

Not only that, the Tumbler is $10 cheaper than IM! :lecture

Tumbler much better collectible for the money, the Tumbler gives more visual bang for the buck.

Think about that for a second, beast Tumbler cheaper than IM!

Not even a contest.

Re: The Dark Knight: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible (relaunch)

This is something I never thought they would re-release, I will probably order it now though as a lot of people are and its big $$$ in hot toys pockets.

I think the problem is even for us that don't flip, we like knowing the value of our figures is more than we payed just incase we need to sell them at some point.

By them re-releasing this figure it does mean everything is possible, makes we think that any figure that goes over say $350-$400 in value, we should sell and just wait to buy the new release :rotfl

Figures I have that I am thinking of selling now: Godfather, Wolverine, Blade, Dutch...

Hot Toys needs to realize that the reason their figures became so popular was the secondary market, which they are now destroying. This can be good and bad, might mean they have to drop their prices in the future when the flippers leave the hobby, and its good for those of us that didn't buy the original release, but bad for those who thought they were buying a limited edition figure (which is totally meaningless unless its a numbered edition like sideshow does!).

Re: The Dark Knight: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible (relaunch)

I think i'm going to wait for the 10th rerelease of a figure because we all know the 10th release will definately be better than the 9th, right?

I'm going to wait for so long that i'll just die and have not owned and enjoyed anything at all in my life.

Is that really living?
