The chromed mask really gives me hope for the eventual Destro and Masked Cobra Commander figures. Hope I did not have before.

Though it does make it even more annoying that they didn't do it for the Commander PF or the AOTC Clone Trooper officer visors.

Crome was added to the Cobra Commander Premium Format Figure. Look for updated pics of that update on the site soon (or look in the Cobra Commander PF thread...some in hand pics are scattered through there).

I can live with an iron looking head. I've seen a couple of Destro customs that don't have chrome looking heads and they look great.

Yeah, but if people could get 3.75" Destro figures with chrome heads in 1983 at any mass market retail store then Sideshow should be able to offer it on a high-end 1/6 figure in 2012-2013. And it sounds like they will.

Pisses me off, I've been checking in every afternoon hour for the past two days and still missed out.

I like the days when no one knew of TA.

Yeah. Pisses me off that I had several items in my cart was going to place a nice size order to try to spread the shipping thin, then sniped right out of my cart. I'm sure they'll open more at some point. I don't need boots and webgear if the uniform is gone.

I'm sure they could do it. Might not look right though. I imagine a lot of detail might not show up with chrome...

The Viper Webgear never interested me though, the light colored grey threading was a mistake imho, I wish Sideshow used the type of vest that Barney Ross had.

If I was smarter I would have ordered the gauntlets and uni only. The rest of the stuff would probably linger. I didn't need the helmet or weapons as I plan to just use the Ex head and the other gun that came with it. But I got greedy to save $5 on shipping and order a ton of stuff...

Does anyone else's Viper body make a clicking noise when using the ab joint? It seems a little loose there and at the hips. I might have to tear him down to see if the body is cracked. I also think the swivels on the top of the legs at the hip are fused again like on my Hawk body.

No ab problems, but the knees on mine make a weird clicking sound when i bend them. It's obviously some kind of design flaw. Sideshow should look into this.
