this thing looks a whole lot better in person, especially the sculpt

I disagree, it photographs better than it looks on a shelf, mainly because the skin tone is way too dark and the head slightly too small. That doesn't show up in photos. The sculpt is amazing though, and if you look at it close up it's like you're in the same room as Christopher Reeve.

I must admit the rubber parts to the body worry me slightly.

$200 at perfection, I wonder what you would expect at $400 haha

if it were $400, i wouldn't be buying it.

as is, it's way overpriced. $200 for a true type with a spandex bodysuit?

I love this figure. I can't wait to get it. But I'm pretty sure Superman wouldn't have such an easy time against those Avengers. Especially Thor. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure Thor was declared the victor in a fight between Sups and Thor by Wizard waaayyyy back in the day. Funny strip though.

I can't believe how quick mine converted for the Exclusive - I put in the order Friday night after seeing they were converting the waitlist.

I don't know if I can wait two weeks!

The reason they are converting so quickly is money is tight and the HS is off.

Smart money is waiting on the redux with improved sculpt ala CR statue.
