I think it's harder to sculpt a face with strong expression on it, especially a smile. But this is Jackie Chan so I can see why a smile was required.

its a very cool headsculpt
!!but all the collectibles of jackie chan is with smile!!i know jackie smiles all the time,butt i think a serious head will be perfect
!!!!i just got this head delivered today. its a great sculpt very nicely done. the only thing that lets it down is the teeth, which makes him look a little goofy. also the nose looks a bit to sharp and doesnt seem right. i think it must have been edited in the final version. however this is the best jackie chan sculpt out there, and as a fan i had to have it
the paint job on it is beautiful, and it comes nicely packaged in a custom box.
althought head comes pre-drilled i had to dremel it every so slightly to make it fit a hot toys connector which was easy work.
i will post some pictures once i get him on a body. overall im very happy. denny kim is a trust worthy guy and i would deal with him again. he does great sculpts to.
i would look forward to another jackie chan sculpt as i believe he could improve on this one further to make it a masterpiece, just the teeth and nose would need some tweaking.

quickly just bashed my jackie chan head together on some clothes and a hot toys body. see attached picture.
im actually quite dissapointed the head is to small when compared to other 1/6 heads. so i had to pose him sitting down on a chair to take the effect away of his head looking smaller when stood standing up in front of other figures in my collection
the sculpt is nice, but looks to damn weird cos of the small head.. - denny kim you should have realised this...
i didnt realise how small the head was until i attached it on a body.
even from a distant, you have to come up close to see the figure. i probably wont keep this figure now due to this, and will stick it up for sale

, most 1/6 sculpt as undersized enough as it is but that just look ridiculous! My Underworld Selene head better not be that small or I'm going to be pissed!

that's sad because it's a nice sculpt but way too small and at the price he's asking this thing should be the right size.
Yea I'm gutted and upset, especially as the sculpt wasn't cheap and I had to source and pay for getting the clothes together, along with a new body.
Would be nice to get a refund, as I have no need for this and have already taken it down from my collection as it looks crap just being there with my other figures.
Problems with this figure are head to small, eyes too too small you have to go up close to even see them. Teeth and nose are off also. I hope no one else has issues with size of any other heads.
i think this is a lesson for all. anyone buying custom sculpts should get the sculptor to show comparison pics with some original hot toys sculpts. we always just assume that with any custom heads the head will be correct in size.
I would have bought some more of Denny Kim's sculpt but unless he compensates or makes it right for me, I'm staying clear

All of our custom heads are made on Hottoys normal body.
At the moment, we are having a difficult time for our custom sculpt for its paiting job.(One of our painters left the company due to his personal issue and the other painter is too slow to paint heads at the moment)
The eye size is small(in my opinion), this is what we showed people.
Nothing is changed from the preview photos of the final sculpt.
